A public consultation is coming to decide whether Temae Beach stays public or is privatized for a hotel.

For five years, local non-profits, the government, and the developer WANE have been in a battle over the future of this beach

Temae Beach is legally a public reserve
•
No private construction should be allowed.
•
Yet WANE bought the beach knowing this… and now he’s pressuring the government to bend the rules for him
•
Four years ago, we stood together and stopped WANE’S overwater bungalows from being built onto the lagoon.

Now it’s time we protect the beach.
