My greatest find of 2022 is without a doubt @thebasicband (thanks again to my gorgeous friend @shopgirl2911 for initially sharing this with me! 🤗) I talk about it so much that I wanted to share a quick reel that shows how easy it is to use - literally secure around your waist, tuck in your top / jumper and you’re good to go! 👌🏼 I’ve been using this at least once a week and don’t see that I’ll stop any time soon - it’s the perfect piece to finesse your outfits and elevate your style. Here’s how we used @thebasicband to rework three different outfits using the same method: tuck, secure, shape. 📌 French Tuck with a Chunky Knit Sweater + Dress Pants: Secured @thebasicband above the waistband. (This will save you from having to adjust your top and tuck every time you go to the loo. Pull and adjust depending on how short you want the front) 📌 Making a Top & Skirt outfit from a Mini Dress: We sized up with the Basic Band so that it fits comfortably just above the hips. 📌 For full hourglass and pear body shapes who enjoy the look of chunky knits and slip skirts / dresses but feel like you lose your shape: Place the band at the small of the waist, and tuck your sweater upwards. This will highlight your smaller waist between a full bust and full hips. This style could also work well for petites who feel like sweaters or jumpers are too long. If you prefer the “column” shape, place the basic band on (or just above) the hips, and tuck your sweater in from there. #thebasicband #capsulewardrobe #frenchtuck
