MALast week we had the opportunity to visit @thebugparc and it definitely didn’t disappoint! 🤩

George has been desperate to visit all year and had the BEST day, seeing all the wonderful creepy crawlies that @thebugparc had to offer; we were lucky enough to take part in a bug handling session and got to see some fantastic bugs up close, whilst learning all about them. I’d really recommend booking this if you’re visiting with your little ones. It’s a great ‘extra’ to an already bug-filled day 🤗
There are lots of different zones at the park to explore at your own leisure, my personal favourite was the butterfly house 😍 it may be super hot & humid, but I could have spent hours in there, trying to spot all of the different butterflies coming out at different times of the day.
It was wonderful also getting to meet Martin during our visit and finding out more about the park - it’s amazing just how quickly popularity of @thebugparc has grown over the last few years, but it’s easy to see why! It’s definitely recommended to book in advance as the park has been at full capacity for much of the summer 😊
The Bug Parc is a fabulous day out for little ones, and has everything they could wish for under one roof; there are an assortment of outdoor play activities, including a pedal go kart zone, jumping pillow, toddlers soft play area and a traditional fairground game section, which George loved!
We normally bring a picnic with us for days out (there’s plenty of space to sit and eat outdoors on hot sunny days) but we chose to get food at the Chrysalis cafe on site which was a winner for us; we bought a pizza to share which was lovely, and also a kids meal which George was happy with.
Of course, after completing our stamper trail before heading home, we paid a visit to the gift shop and George came away with a new set of butterflies to add to his ever-growing toy insect collection. Ada came away with a cuddly toy 🥰
