TRवैष्णो देवी यात्रा भारत की सबसे पवित्र और प्रसिद्ध तीर्थ यात्राओं में से एक है, जो जम्मू-कश्मीर के त्रिकूट पर्वत में स्थित है। यह यात्रा कटरा से शुरू होकर लगभग 12-13 किलोमीटर की चढ़ाई के बाद माता वैष्णो देवी के पवित्र भवन तक पहुंचती है।रास्ते में प्रमुख पड़ाव जैसे बाणगंगा, चरण पदुका, अर्धकुंवारी और सांझी छत आते हैं, जहां श्रद्धालु विश्राम और दर्शन करते हैं। पूरा मार्ग प्राकृतिक पहाड़ों, घने जंगलों और सुंदर घाटियों से होकर गुजरता है, जो यात्रा को आध्यात्मिक के साथ-साथ रोमांचक भी बनाता है।

Legend says that Mana village in Uttarakhand, near Badrinath, is the first village of India and the starting point of the Pandavas’ final journey to heaven – Swargarohini Yatra.
After the Kurukshetra war and years of ruling Hastinapur, the Pandavas felt their purpose on earth was complete. Seeking liberation, they left their kingdom behind and began a spiritual journey toward heaven, renouncing power, ego, and attachments.
Their path led them through villages, forests, glaciers, and high mountains of the Himalayas—finally reaching Mana village, where their mystical ascent began.
At Bhim Pul in Mana, Bhima is believed to have placed a massive rock to help Draupadi cross the roaring Saraswati river.
From here, they continued through Vasudhara Falls, Satopanth Tal (a holy triangular lake), and moved toward the Swargarohini glacier.
One by one, Pandavas fell on the way, symbolic of the flaws they still carried:
Draupadi – pride and partiality
Sahadeva – vanity of wisdom
Nakula – attachment to beauty
Arjuna – ego of skill
Bhima – pride of strength
Only Yudhishthira, who remained pure-hearted and truthful, continued the journey along with a dog who followed him from the start.
At the gates of heaven, Indra invited Yudhishthira to enter—but without the dog. Yudhishthira refused, choosing loyalty over heaven.
The dog then revealed itself as Dharma (the God of righteousness), blessing Yudhishthira for his unwavering values and granting him entry to heaven in human form.
Even today, trekkers follow this legendary route from Mana village to Satopanth Lake, calling it “The path to heaven.”

⚧️Maa Vindhyavasini Mandir, also known as Bandlamata Temple, is a revered ancient temple located in Bundla Khas, about 3 km from Palampur market in Himachal Pradesh. The temple consists of an old and a new structure, both dedicated to goddess Durga. The old temple is perched atop a hill amidst the picturesque Dhauladhar ranges and can be reached through trekking or offroading.
