I’ve been to over 27 countries and these are my LEAST favorite cities😞⬇️ **This is all based off of personal experiences in these places which can be different for everybody!** BEFORE you keep reading SAVE this for when you’re planning your next trip!✨ 🇮🇹 Venice: The amount of times it smelled like the NASTIEST sewage ever. I was SO excited to finally visit Venice but it was quite underwhelming and packed with tourists making the alleyways hard to get through. I also unfortunately dealt with quite a few racist comments and locals pulling their eyes back when they saw me. Instead visit the nearby towns of Burano, Murano, and Verona! 🇷🇸 Belgrade: Other than one singular street in the city Belgrade is probably the ugliest city I’ve been to. ever. Half a day and I was dying to leave. The nightlife it’s known for was pricey and people were often snobby/exclusive (the history was so interesting though) 🇧🇪 Brussels: I saw a man chasing a bunch of women around the town square which made me uneasy. Brussels felt overhyped and underwhelming. I personally think there are much more exciting/beautiful places to go near there such as the neighboring towns of Ghent and Bruges. 🧇 🇮🇹 Naples: Despite the pizza, I felt so unsafe here! Not only that but there were MASSIVE piles of trash everywhere and it’s the only place I’ve solo traveled where I didn’t feel safe during the day unless I was with others:( 🇮🇪 Dublin: While the people were lovely the city was so grey and the city felt sketchy in certain parts. It was underwhelming, PACKED with people and SO overpriced, I felt bad for contributing bc of the locals. (I LOVED the rest of Ireland though)🍀 I really wanted to love these cities but based off personal experience they just didn’t make the cut for me. Have you had similar experiences?
