Andrew and I had agreed upon Waverly for years, it just sounded beautiful to us. We wanted a name that could have an easy nickname or shortened name, so we've been calling her "Waves." As someone with a short name myself, I always wanted a nickname, so having that built in for us with Waverly was part of loving the name, too (it wasn't until I was older, did friends start calling me Dayne/Dayn, which was always appreciated). I also have never taught a Waverly (yet,.. found out a student's little sister is Waverly lol). Middle name was a bit trickier, we bounced around many ideas for that, but I think it's obvious how it came about. We got Waverly from a TV show, does anyone know what show we got the first name from?
