Who said garages can’t be badass too?! 😜 Raise your hand if you were here 2 years ago when I built my mobile work benches? 🙋🏼‍♀️ well it’s time for WORKBENCHES 2.0! The base of my mobile workbenches are complete! Instead of building them from scratch this time, I decided to make modifications to the cabinets that I got for the garage so that everything matched and looked like one built-in space… I had to cut down some of the cabinets to account for the height of my tablesaw and miter saw and a few times I wasn’t sure I would be able to pull it off… but I’m so glad that I kept going because it is so good! I built custom countertops that I stained, and now I have a new set of modular workbenches that look built in with the rest of the cabinetry. If you think this is cool… you ain’t seen nothing yet, I’m just getting started! 😍 #garageworkshop #diyprojects #homeimprovementprojects What should I add to the wall behind the benches? Wallpaper? Shiplap? Mural? 🤔 HALP.

I’ve been making a ton of these workbenches lately and I’m loving it. Super simple 2x4 and plywood design. They’re extremely quick and easy to make and very sturdy. If you really buckled down you could probably make one in about an hour including all the cuts etc. Once the process is stream lined you could probably get that much lower. I liked them so much I made two for my own shop that I didn’t even need. Maybe I’ll keep building them for my own shop until the entire floor is covered like the Winchester Mystery Mansion. 🤔 #woodshoplife #shopbuilt #weekendwoodworker #workbench #wickswoodworks
