DELife and it’s journey!! ✍️
It has truly taken me about 25 years to realise and come to terms that life doesn’t happen just like that.
People make it happen. They strive for it to happen. They run and run and run tirelessly to see the life they dream and desire for.
But I also took it to understand and realise that, a step backwards doesn’t mean failure. It doesn’t mean we aren’t capable.
It means we are just being tested. Whatever life throws at us, we are meant to fight back. Life might put us into moments that could even destroy us, yes. But does it mean, we will be eventually destroyed? Noo, it lies in us to pick up the goodness from whatever was thrown at us, turn around and run towards our goal.
You know, no two people undergo a similar problem in their life. What I go through might seem trivial to someone and might seem humongous to someone else. But what does it mean to me? What did it put me through? And how did I overcome it?
That’s all will mean to me when I decide to take a pause and look back into my journey, with a sense of satisfaction and a tinge of pride!
To every human, who is a survivor, who is a fighter, who is battling their own fears and struggles and who will one fine day wake up to the light of their life...
This one is for you! 😍❤️

DATry the Meghan Markle Pasta! She doesn’t really give an exact recipe, but after watching what she does, here’s my writeup of her Single Skillet Spaghetti Recipe:
1. Bring 3 1/2 cups water to a boil in a tea kettle. Meanwhile, slice 2 cups cherry tomatoes in half. Add them to a skillet along with 3 cloves minced garlic. Drizzle generously with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
2. Add 1 pound spaghetti to the skillet, and then cover with the zest of 1 lemon. Chop the stems of 2 to 3 pieces of Swiss Chard or Lacinato Kale and add them to the skillet.
3. Add the boiling water to the skillet, cover, and then cook over medium-high heat for about 6 minutes. Remove the cover, then the leaves of your chard or kale, loosely chopped. Cook for another 4 to 5 minutes, until the pasta is al dente.
4. Remove from the heat and add in a pinch of red pepper flakes, 1/2 cup arugula, and 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan. Toss together and serve.

RECIPE WRITEUP
Ingredients:
• 8 cups broccoli florets
• 2 tablespoons olive oil oil
• ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
• ⅓ cup unsalted vegetable broth
• 2 large cloves garlic, grated on a microplane
• 1 tbsp Dash Onion & Herb
• 1 tbsp crushed red pepper
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• Grated parmesan, for topping (optional)
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Toss 8 cups broccoli, 2 tablespoons oil and ¼ teaspoon each salt and pepper in a 9-by-13-inch baking pan. Roast, stirring once, until browned in spots and slightly tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
Whisk ⅓ cup broth, grated garlic and Onion & Herb Dash together in a small bowl. Stir the broth mixture into the pan with the broccoli. Roast until the liquid is almost completely reduced, 5 to 10 minutes.
Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and add grated parmesan if desired.

THHere’s a writeup from my AMA on Friday. I answered a bunch of questions in my stories, but I realize a lot of you guys don’t want to listen to me yap that much. And also a few of my global followers said they were having a hard time understanding me (I talk fast and low, known issue.) Anyway, awesome questions all around and I thank everybody for playing. Without further ado:
Do I think something fishy happened with “Bayesian”?
No. As with many tragedies I think a lot of small things went wrong along the way that compiled into one large catastrophe. Although I will allow it was a really weird coincidence that Lynch’s partner passed the day before.
Favorite entry-level yacht?
Various ways to interpret this question (what’s an “entry-level” yacht?) but I went with @axopar . The hulls run well and they are very competitively priced, they also have better layouts IMO than comparable Nordic builds. (People yelled at me in my DMs about this answer, but I said what I said.)
Best yacht rock song?

Do I need an assistant?

Who are my favorite designers?
Too many good ones to name, and picking a designer is as personal as picking a spouse. I gave shouts to RWD and Joseph Dirand for “Faith” and “Liva O” respectively, and also said that @dickiebannenberg and @patrickknowlesdesigns have been very helpful in my career.
Do I guide potential buyers on the type of yacht they should buy?
Not officially, but I am always happy to help. My DMs are open.

I’m in no clear and present danger of buying a yacht, but probably a custom sportfish, I like the lines on @spenceryachts and @baylissboatworks best. [Cue all the Euros barfing into their hands.]

If you could get on anyone’s yacht, who would it be?
I’m an 80s baby, it’s gotta be Michael Jordan. Although the charter itinerary for @dardanella_yacht is incredible.
