Here’s a better approach: 💡 Perform the slumps test to check for an irritated sciatic nerve. 💡 Instead of stretching, try nerve flossing: move your leg and head in sync to gently free up the nerve without adding irritation. 💥 STOP Stretching Your Sciatica! ❌ If you have sciatica, then you probably have that tight burning down the back of your leg But the problem is not in your leg, it stems from the low back! So the biggest mistake you can make is continually stretching the leg, hoping it gets better Because a sensitive nerve does not want to be stretched, and this can prevent you from healing! So how do you fix this without stretching with the pain is? 🔑 The key here is to address sciatica at the root, which is in the low back! Most people have been sold the wrong solution for sciatica, and some of the most common positions can actually make it worse. In many cases, sciatica is caused by too much spinal flexion. Too much bending forward. Too many sit ups. Too much time rounded over. That repeated flexion can drive a disc backward, press on the nerve, and send pain down the leg.
