Less jumps and more of this. 👇⁠ ⁠ ⁠ If you’re only dancing & jumping, you’re not training your legs to jump higher—you’re just practicing. ⁠ ⁠ ⁠ Real progress comes from smart strength work outside of class.⁠ ⁠ 💡 Here’s the full formula:⁠ ⁠ 1️⃣ Build strength — heavy enough that you can’t do more than 5–12 reps. This is the foundation.⁠ ⁠ 2️⃣ Add speed — develop reaction time and leg explosiveness. Do this outside of turned-out positions so you can truly focus.⁠ ⁠ 3️⃣ Combine it — now jump, but just 4–6 reps at max effort, trying to get as high as possible.
