SOHere’s a good reason to stop you from using Boost Post and start using Ads Manager instead!
You don’t get the flexibility of A/B testing with ads when you boost a post. You’re letting chances take over the control of the results. As an advertiser who wants to scale the campaigns and reduce CPA, I recommend you start using ads manager.
By default, every campaign has multiple ad sets, and within each ad set, you can have multiple ads. Consider the campaign as a folder and the ad set as another folder within the campaign folder and then the ad is another folder within the ad set folder. So, this becomes the structure Campaigns > Ad Sets > Ad.
On a campaign level, you decide your goal e.g. you want traffic on your website, you want to boost your sales, or get leads. On the ad set level, you decide where to show the ads and who to show the ads.
Then comes the ad level, all that’s visible to the audience like caption, creative, links, CTA, and social media handles.
You can have multiple ads in a single ad set that allows Meta’s system to experiment with the creative and find the most suitable ad out of the options provided.
