If you do these 6 steps in order, your screen time drops without “willpower” 👇 ❌Delete the triggers (2 mins) Remove the 3 apps you open on autopilot. Not “later.” Now. (You can reinstall, your brain just needs the break.) 📱Add friction (30 secs) Turn on: grayscale + notifications OFF (except calls/text + calendar). Color+ pings are the addiction engine. 📲Move the phone (1 rule) Phone stays outside your bedroom and out of reach while working. If it’s within arm’s reach, you’ll touch it. 🔁Replace the hit (the swap list) Pick 3 tiny substitutes for the urge: water sip, 10 deep breaths, stand + stretch. 🪟Set 2 daily windows (freedom without relapse) Choose two scroll windows (ex: 12:30–12:45 + 8:30–8:50). Outside those windows = no feed apps. ⏰Track one number (make it a game) Write daily: Screen time + pickups. Try to beat yesterday by 5%. Small wins compound fast.
