SUA squary tip for squaring numbers near 50 ⚡️
e.g. 46²
✨How far is it from 50? It’s 4 LESS
✨Do 25-4. This gives the first two digits of our answer: 2️⃣1️⃣
✨Do 4². This gives the last two digits of our answer: 1️⃣6️⃣
46² = 2116
⛔️ We always need a four-digit answer
⛔️If the number is more than 50, we add the difference to 25
⛔️This only works for squaring (multiplying a number by itself)

🧐 Why does this work?
When squaring a number near 50 we can write it as (50-N)²
For example 46² is (50-4)² or 53³ is (50–(-3))²
If we expand that bracket we’ll get: 2500 - 100N + N²
Now we can pull out a factor of 100 to get: 100(25-N)+N²
💕That (25-N) is why we add or subtract the difference from 25
💕Multiplying by 100 makes the space for two more digits
💕Which we fill with N² (the difference squared)

ATDo Sumo Squats usually hurt your back?
Try these 4️⃣ Que’s to put the movement in your glutes and out of your back
1️⃣- Start the weight back in your stance
2️⃣- Push your hips back and allow your chest to come over the top
3️⃣- Lock your shoulders in and slightly sit into it (your glutes and hamstrings should feel stretched out)
4️⃣- Lift the weight by coming thru with your glutes (hips should never pass your shoulders)
Although it’s called a “Sumo Squat” this movement is a hinge movement not a squaring motion. Let your glutes do the work not your legs and keep your lower back out of the movement
