Ingredients 2 1/4 (285g) cups all purpose flour 1/4 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp corn starch 1 cup (200g) dark brown sugar 3 tbsp (37g) granulated sugar 1 egg + 1 egg yolk, cold 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, cold 1 tbsp vanilla bean paste 1 cup (250g) semi sweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup (125g) milk chocolate chunks Pinch of salt 1/2 tsp instant coffee Method: In a bowl or stand mixer add cubed cold butter. Beat on high until creamy for about 2 min. Add in brown sugar and granulated sugar. Beat again for 2-3 min on high until well combined. Add in the egg and egg yolk along with the with vanilla bean paste. Mix on high for 3-4 min until everything is well incorporated. In a separate bowl add all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, corn starch, salt, instant coffee. Mix to combine. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Add in chocolate. Mix until just combined, do not over mix the batter at this stage. Scoop 6 ounces tall cookie dough balls on baking sheet. Freeze the dough balls for at least 2 hours or overnight. Pre heat oven to 350 F. Place 3-4 cookies on a prepared baking sheet, leaving approximately 4 inches of space in between each cookie. Bake for 16-18 min or until the edges are golden and crispy and center is chewy and soft. Let cool completely before serving and enjoy. #cookie #cookies #thickcookies

Try this breathing technique to help reduce pelvic floor trauma when pushing in birth. The goal is to birth your baby's head a bit slowly so your perineal tissue has time to stretch. How? Avoid forcefully bearing down and breath holding (aka purple pushing). A hee-hee hoo-hoo breath (or say the word HOUSE) can help you slow down as baby head is coming out. A fast forceful birthing of baby's head can increase the chances of tear. Side lying and hands and knee positions are great (and possible w an epidural) as they allow the sacrum to be free and open while also helping you slow down when crowning. Sooooo much more to say on birth positions, breathing and ways to reduce tearing. It's all in the Push Prep course! Juicy spiced chicken, roasted garlic sauce, and a fresh crunch in every bite… all the flavor, none of the fuss! 😁 For the chicken: -9 boneless skinless chicken thighs -3 tbsp olive oil -5 cloves garlic, minced -1/2 red onion, finely chopped -juice of 1/2 lemon -1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt -lemon zest, optional -Seasonings: 1 tbsp cumin, 2 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp salt , 1.5 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp black pepper, and 1 tsp salt Roasted Garlic Tzatziki: -1 cup plain greek yogurt -1 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped -1 tsp salt -1/4 cup grated cucumber -1 tbsp lemon juice -2 garlic heads (roasted with 2 tbsp olive oil & 2 tsp salt) -1 tbsp olive oil For the fresh salad: -12 cherry tomatoes, cut in halves -1/2 a red onion, finely sliced -1 tbsp olive oil -1 tsp salt For the wrap: -Pitas of your choice -Fries -Parsley, finely chopped for garnish Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Pat your chicken dry, then toss it in a bowl with olive oil, garlic, red onion, lemon juice, zest, and seasonings. Mix well and marinate for as long as your patience allows. 2. Halve an onion and place one half flat-side down on a baking dish (your DIY rotisserie base). Skewer it, then stack chicken high like a delicious Jenga tower. Top with red onion and a tiny foil hat to protect the peak. Roast 75–90 minutes, until golden, juicy, and slightly charred. 3. For roasted garlic, slice the tops off, drizzle with oil and salt, wrap in foil, and roast 35–40 minutes until soft and caramelized (your kitchen will smell incredible). 4. Mix yogurt, dill, cucumber, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt. Squeeze in roasted garlic, mash, and stir until smooth. Chill until showtime. 5. Toss together cherry tomatoes, red onion, olive oil, and salt. Let them mingle for 5–10 minutes. 6. Once the chicken’s done, rest it 5 minutes, then slice thinly and try not to eat half while you do. 7. Assemble the wrap: pita, tzatziki, chicken, tomato salad, fries, and a parsley mic drop. Serve warm with extra tzatziki for good measure.
