Which one are you? ⬅️ or ➡️ Faster reps - bouncing out of the bottom position is awesome for times workouts where you’re more likely using manageable weights so that you can keep good form and not risk injury Slow and controlled reps - when scaling weights up and you need that little respite on the way down as well as a bit more control through your core to ensure you don’t jar your back or knees There’s no right or wrong - just different workouts for different outcomes. #thrusters #gymtips #strengthtraining #femalefitness #coach

Which would you rather do? Dumbbell or Barbell thrusters Tough choice I know 😅 I love dumbbell thrusters as it challenges your body a little more since the load is split up vs an even barbell. If you have one arm that is stronger, the difference is more noticeable when using dumbbells. With the thruster, the timing component is important, hips then arms on the way up so you are transferring energy from your lower body to your upper body. On the return, bring the dumbbells back to your shoulders then go into the squat, this will avoid crashing down at the bottom. Watch until the end for modifications if you only have 1 dumbbell.
