A very special delivery for David Attenborough, beloved by people (and animals) everywhere 💚 To honour Sir David’s 100th birthday, His Majesty King Charles is supported by a cast of stars from British nature to relay his handwritten message in time for the celebration at the Royal Albert Hall. 🤯Entitled children are created. It's learned through ways parents setup rewards systems and relationship dynamics. It often happens in ways you wouldn't expect. 🍦When a child is giving us resistance and we use a bribe to gain compliance it shows them that if they cooperate they should be paid for it. Doing things for the sake of them is less appealing and that becomes incredibly harmful since most of life's biggest accomplishments require time and effort before rewards are seen. It also creates adults that normalize transactional relationships and experience unfairness or disappointment as a result. 😢When we make a child responsible for the feelings of another (ours or another child's) we force the habit of self betrayal. We create the behaviors that make overly emotional people powerful and manipulation useful. We also make our children believe that others are responsible for their emotions which sets them up for many disappointments in life. 📌***Does this one trigger you⁉️ WATCH OUR REEL TODAY, then weigh in!! 🎮When we force sharing we lose the idea of ownership and control. While that may be a nice idea to promote in theory it often means those who know how to take advantage are better off than those who are giving. By mistake you set your child up to think that others owe them their resources OR you set them up to experience guilt over not sharing something even if it isn't healthy to. 🤓 Entitlement is dangerous but so is blindly assigning blame. Younger generations need more experienced guidance but that doesn't mean we compare or shame because circumstances ARE DIFFERENT. Instead when parents update their practices with a higher understanding of how these ideas create ripple effects they show kids that the only things we can be entitled to is our peace and even that must created by healthy perspectives that we practice everyday. ❤ #parenting #parents #parenthood #children #child #family #kids #childhood #positiveparenting #positiveparentingtips #parentingtips #mentalwellness #momlife #entitled #spoiled #entitlement
