I know there is a future version of me. She would give anything to stand where I am right now. She remembers the sound of school bags hitting the floor. She remembers the muddy shoes by the door. She remembers the “Mom, look!” from the other room. She remembers the weight of a sleepy child on her chest. She knows how full the house felt. No amount of peace can match that feeling. One day, my beds will stay made. My counters will stay clean. My calendar will be quiet. The house will be silent. That silence will hurt. The things that feel heavy today are my best memories tomorrow. This season is still mine. The chaos is not the problem. It is the proof. It is proof that life is happening all around me. Nothing is more worthy of my attention. Nothing is more important than these ordinary days. I won’t rush them. I will be in them. Because one day, I would give anything to have them back. 👇 Comment ACS and we’ll send you our NEWEST FREE parenting guide: Adult Coping Strategies poster This guide will help you: ✅ Calm your nervous system during stressful parenting moments. ✅ Feel steadier, more regulated, and confident when your child needs you most. ✅ Model emotional resilience so your child learns how to handle big feelings in a healthy way. 👉 Comment ACS below to download your copy! 👇 All our guides are ✨ Therapist-vetted and evidence-based✨ #biglifejournal #positiveparenting #parentingtips #gentleparenting #mindfulparenting

"Kafka and the Doll" At 40, Franz Kafka (1883-1924), who never married and had no children, walked through the park in Berlin when he met a girl who was crying because she had lost her favourite doll. She and Kafka searched for the doll unsuccessfully. Kafka told her to meet him there the next day and they would come back to look for her. The next day, when they had not yet found the doll, Kafka gave the girl a letter “written” by the doll saying “please don’t cry. I took a trip to see the world. I will write to you about my adventures.” Thus began a story which continued until the end of Kafka’s life. During their meetings, Kafka read the letters of the doll carefully written with adventures and conversations that the girl found adorable. Finally, Kafka brought back the doll (he bought one) that had returned to Berlin. “It doesn’t look like my doll at all,” said the girl. Kafka handed her another letter in which the doll wrote: “my travels have changed me.” the little girl hugged the new doll and brought her happy home. A year later Kafka died. Many years later, the now-adult girl found a letter inside the doll. In the tiny letter signed by Kafka it was written: “Everything you love will probably be lost, but in the end, love will return in another way.” . . . #fyp #fypシ #explorepage #explorepage✨ #poetry
