Just visited the doc 👨‍⚕️ he said since my last x ray and lung scan in 2012 (which I had because I was sick) that my lungs “overall have no significant change”. I get my lungs checked pretty often in different ways. Vaping nicotine or non nicotine e liquid is not the cause of these deaths or lung issues related to “vaping”. Many things can be vaped, so when the verb “vaping” is used it’s important to understand what happened in these cases. Black market THC products contained an additive called vitamin e acetate (which is an oil and can’t absorb in your lungs). In a CDC study of lung tissue samples of people who got sick, ALL had vitamin E acetate present. I will have a link to this report in my story if you’d like to read them for yourself, it’s important to know the truth since they didn’t report it officially until 3 months later. E-liquid (which is what I use) is submitted into a process with the FDA to show what ingredients are in the liquid. They dissolve in water. THC carts containing vitamin e acetate is the exact opposite, your lungs can’t absorb oil. This X-ray displays a scan of my lungs. I have been vaping for around 6 years now - and my doc said “you look healthy“. Please spread this message. Vaping is a tobacco harm reduction product, just like nicotine patches or gum etc. (with a much higher transfer rate). Adults vape flavored e liquid and ex adult smokers extend their lives through this product. In fact, most adults DO NOT use tobacco flavored e liquid as that is what they are trying to quit. P.S. I’m not saying that you should vape or that it’s 100% safe BUT it’s important to be educated on all matters, especially when it comes to your health.
