There’s an easy way to combat this: Actually encourage your kid to start a business. When you think about it… as long as you give them permission, there’s nothing holding them back from succeeding. This is exactly what I’ll do with my son, Maverick. That’s when he’ll learn that he can earn as much as he’d like. Instead of waiting for someone else to give resources to him… he’ll understand he has the power to get them for himself. To me, this is what all kids should learn. When they do… the sky’s the limit on their potential.
