Some males have large incisors that can grow out of their mouths. They grow continuously throughout their lives and, in some cases, can create problems for some males when grazing. Usually, they will manage somehow, but to make sure they do not bother him, we helped by trimming them a bit, as I said, about every 5 to 6 years. There are no nerves in them, so he feels no pain, and we can cut them back with no issues. We usually just took a little bit off to make sure he can manage any aggression from the females. Those are the ones you have to watch out for, not the males. The males will come straight at you. The females are more sneaky and get you when you least expect it.
