✨ Why Calcium Is So Important for Every Woman👩‍⚕️❓ Fatigue, tiredness, back pain, neck pain, muscle cramps… Many women assume it’s “just stress,” but often the real reason is calcium deficiency. From menstruation to pregnancy, breastfeeding to menopause — every stage of a woman’s life needs enough calcium. Because calcium isn’t just for bones. It supports your mood, heartbeat, nerves, muscles and so much more. When your body doesn’t get enough, it pulls calcium from your bones — leading to weakness, cramps, brittle nails and low energy. 💡 If you have these symptoms, check your calcium levels. And most importantly, balance your intake through real, nutritious foods. 💬 Share this with your friends & family Follow @dr.akhila_joshi for more women’s health tips that actually matter. #CalciumDeficiency #WomensHealth #HormoneHealth #BoneHealth #HealthyLiving #DrAkhilaJoshi #Akhilasoukhya #WomenWellness #NaturalNutrition #LifestyleHealing #sharetosupport

What can be other dietary source of calcium foods other than dairy and dairy products?💪🏼 ‼️Firstly, let’s get this clear: Calcium is an important mineral that is easy to obtain through our daily diet. We should always aim to consume 2 or 3 servings of calcium giving foods per day. Points to remember: 👉🏼 The above mentioned food’s might have low values but these foods have properties that help your body absorb the calicum. Always focus on their absorption properties. 👉🏼 Never mix iron and calcium foods together as that hinders the absorption process. Eg: Having Palak Paneer is a big no-no! 👉🏼 Vitamin D is crucial for increasing the absorption of calcium in the body. You should get your regular sun exposure. 👉🏼 For most adults, it’s recommended to consume at least 1,000 mg of calcium per day, though certain groups require a higher amount, including adolescents, postmenopausal women, and older adults. 👉🏼 To see results, you need to be consistent and include these foods in your daily diet. Found this useful? Common symptoms to watch for include muscle cramps, weak bones with frequent fractures, fatigue, and numbness in the hands and feet. This condition can be caused by inadequate calcium intake, lack of vitamin D, hormonal changes such as menopause, or medical conditions that affect calcium absorption.
