The changes I noticed after trying out the olive oil + lemon shot trend… 🫒🍋 The best type of olive oil to help reduce inflammation is extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO), specifically high-quality, cold-pressed, and, if possible, early harvest varieties. It is packed with anti-inflammatory compounds like oleocanthal (which mimics ibuprofen) and high levels of antioxidants called polyphenols. I’ve also started adding cayenne pepper mainly for its anti-inflammatory benefits. It’s rich in capsaicin, the active compound that gives it heat, which has been shown to help reduce inflammation, boost metabolism, support liver detoxification and support pain relief. I don’t always jump on trends, let alone stick to them, but with this one I’ve really noticed a difference. Have you tried it yet?

It was very emotional and I have been thinking about this for several days, have been so moved by the fact that something as simple as honey and five spices could be so helpful for so many people. I just can’t wrap my mind around it, but I wanted to share a quick snippet of the email and then share the fire honey recipe with you as well. You’ll need one half cup to one cup of honey, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon ginger powder, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Blend well until completely blended. 1 to 2 teaspoons per day. You could take it right off the spoon or mix it in with your beverage or tea. Please be careful if you are sensitive to spices. You may want to tone it down if you are very sensitive. You can always alter the recipe to, however you prefer the level of spice to be. Please don’t give honey to any child under 12 months of age.
