🏋️‍♂️ This is one exercise to try for weight loss. It’s a FULL BODY compound exercise will help you shed some pounds and get fitter. Whilst it’s a single move, it’s like hitting 3 birds with one stone (figuratively, of course!) and all exercises will help work your core. Pick up a set of dumbbells and flow through these series of motions: 🚀 Rows for your back 🚀 Bicep curls to squats for your arms, legs and booty 🚀 Shoulder presses for strong sculpted shoulders 💪 But, how does it help with weight loss? Whilst this exercise isn’t just about getting strong (although that’s a cool bonus). It also helps you towards your calorie deficit which will help you see fat loss. This is because you’ve engaged multiple muscle groups at once so your body works harder and burns more calories both during the workout and even after. Plus, building muscle helps to boost your metabolism. So, while you’re sculpting those muscles, you’re also saying bye to stubborn fat! This exercise is super adaptable and doable for all fitness levels. Strength is about more than how much weight you can lift. 💪✨ This 15 lb heel-elevated unilateral move looks simple, but it targets balance, core, adductors, and all those smaller stabilizing muscles that usually get ignored when we just focus on single larger muscle groups. It’s a great example of a COMPOUND MOVEMENT. One year ago, I couldn’t do this. I would lose my balance, and not be able to stick the form and position. Now my accessory muscles are stronger than ever — which has lead to rock solid balance.
