Most people think Nasya is just “put oil and done”… but that’s exactly why they don’t see results. Nasya is actually a brain-nourishing ritual in Ayurveda. When done right, it can clear mental fog, support your sinuses, balance hormones, and even improve how calm and focused you feel throughout the day. But here’s the truth — it’s not just about what you use, it’s about how and when you do it and how often you do it. Your body needs to be in the right state to actually absorb the benefits. A calm mind, a slightly warm body, and the right timing can completely change how effective Nasya feels. This is why some people swear by it… and others say “it didn’t work for me.” Consistency + correct method = real results. And just for my followers, I’ve created a detailed step-by-step Nasya guide for you 🤍 So don’t forget to follow and comment NASYA, I’ll send it straight to your DM. . . . < Nasya therapy, Best oil for Nasya, Anu thailam benefits, Ayurvedic sleep routine, Dosha based sleep, Vata Pitta Kapha sleep, Nasya precautions, Ayurvedic daily routine, Natural detox Ayurveda, Holistic healing tips, Follow for Ayurveda tips, Daily wellness guide, Health content creator, Holistic lifestyle tips, Wellness Instagram, Ayurvedic doctor advice, Certified Ayurveda expert, Ayurveda healing science, Traditional medicine India, Natural health expert, Book Ayurveda consultation, Online health consultation, Personalized wellness plan, Holistic health consultation, Ayurveda treatment guidance > . . #nasya #oil #vata #dosha #ayurvedic

All women need to know about this! Instead of Botox which will do nothing for your skin in the long run, let’s use holistic solutions that actually improve skin health… This is an ancient Ayurvedic practice called *nasya*. (PS - follow me for tons of holistic skincare tips 👀) Nasya is good for every part of your body from the clavicle up… That includes your hair, face skin, eyesight, hearing, teeth, jaw…all the parts, the list goes on. And bonus…It also prevents wrinkles. 🕺🪩🕺 The classical oil recommended here is an Ayurvedic preparation called anu tailam. You can also use kumkumadi tailam if you’re already facing fine lines. Untoasted sesame oil also works. Here’s how to do nasya: Warm the oil to lukewarm. Lie down and put your head back so your nostrils are facing the ceiling. Put 1-2 drops (NOT MORE!) of oil in each nostril. Gently inhale. Stay lying down for a minute. Massage over the cheekbones and forehead for a moment to help the oil penetrate. If you feel any oil in your throat you can spit it out. All done! Never do this on your period, if you’re congested, have a fever, or are sick. Anu tailam is a little intense, so some people feeling burning or sneeze for their first few days of doing this. Don’t worry, that sensation goes away. Buh bye fine lines! #nasya #ayurveda #antiagingskincare #holisticskincare #ayurvedicbeauty #botoxalternative

Flu cases are rising.- An Ounce of Prevention is worth a pound of cure. The nose is one of the main entry points for airborne viruses. Around 85% of what we breathe in passes through the nostrils first. When the mucous membranes inside the nose stay moist — they help trap what comes in so the immune system can respond. Like a fly trap. In winter, cold air and indoor heating dry out these membranes. When they’re dry, more viruses pass through. Ayurveda- Sahana Nasya practice focuses on keeping the nasal passages lubricated so they can function properly during times of higher exposure. This can be done once or twice a day, and can be applied often and more consistently when spending time in large crowds or enclosed spaces. I do this with my children as well, and it’s made a noticeable difference for us. I used coconut oil but you can also use • olive oil • almond oil • saline nasal sprays • hydrogen peroxide (properly diluted, occasional use) “If this changes how you think about prevention, you’re in the right place.” Have you ever tried nasal oiling before? Or is this completely new to you? #ayurveda #nasya #seasonalwellness #immunehealth #familywellness holisticliving preventativecare naturalhealth

Read this👇👇 This is Nasya 🌿 A very powerful Ayurvedic ritual💫 In Ayurveda, it is said “Nasa hi shiraso dwaram” which means the nose is the doorway to the head/mind. That’s why Nasya is considered so important in Ayurveda because it can influence so many things when done properly and consistently. Doing it regularly helps with: ✨ Mental calmness ✨ Better focus and clarity ✨ Better sleep ✨ A lighter, clearer head ✨ Nasal dryness ✨ Sinus congestion ✨ Head heaviness ✨ Skin dryness and dullness ✨ Supporting healthy skin glow ✨ Hair nourishment ✨ Premature hair greying ✨ Eye comfort and overall head-region support ✨ Dryness in the upper body region But also in Ayurveda, different oils are prescribed for different problems. So the oil, the person, and the proper method all matters a lot💫 Comment OIL if you want to know which oil is used for which concern and the proper way to do Nasya I’ll explain it simply. So you can start doing it at home everyday💯 #ayurveda #nasya #greying #instagramreels #reelsinstagram Have you done it ?

Nasa hi siraso dvaram - the nose is the doorway to the head. The nasal cavity is highly vascular, neurologically rich, and closely connected to the brain through the olfactory nerve and trigeminal nerve. If you know me, you know I can go on and on about nasal oiling, but let me know if you practice Nasya? A few contraindications: Fever Cold Active sinus or throat infection Right after a meal or exercise Indigestion During periods I recommend Any Taila for Nasya, and yes you can do it at bedtime too. So many clients report no longer having a rough allergy season after adding these three things to their dinacharya: 🧂 Neti Pot + Neti Salt 👃 Nasya 🍵 Our Herbal Allergy Tea Seasonal allergies are driven by an overactive immune response → histamine release → inflammation in the nasal passages. It’s essentially the body’s way of handling pollen, and in Ayurveda, we have ways to support the body in better handling this season! It comes down to excess kapha (congestion, mucus), agni (digestive fire) and ama (inflammation levels) in the body. Neti keeps nasal passages clear from irritants. Nasya helps reduce histamine reaction. And our Allergy Tea uses specific herbs to support digestion, lymph, and detox pathways. When inflammation is lower and the body is clearing efficiently, it doesn’t react as strongly to pollen in the first place. Right now, kapha (and allergy) season are in full swing! You can still support yourself this season. Swing by our apothecary and grab our neti pot + salt rinse, handcrafted nasya oil & allergy tea combo. 🌿 #simpleveda #allergyseason #kaphaseason #nasya #allergies

Ayurveda has been placing oil in the nose for thousands of years, and there is a name for this practice. It is called nasya, and the reason is because the nose is the door to the brain and consciousness. Every breath you take is already traveling through this passage, so when you prepare the nasal channel with medicated oil beforehand, the breathwork that follows reaches you on a much deeper level. The oil nourishes the tissues of the head and neck, lubricates the passage, and opens the pathway for prana to move freely, which is why nasya has been used for centuries to support clarity of mind, steadiness of voice, and the overall health of everything above the collarbones. Dr. Lad worked with Banyan Botanicals to create a nasya oil rooted in this same tradition he has practiced his whole life. In the reel he walks you through how he uses it each morning before beginning his breathwork. Comment "nasya" and we will send you Dr. Lad's full written guide so you can bring this practice into your own mornings. 1️⃣ Sesame oil is a traditional Ayurvedic remedy for migraines. In Ayurveda, headaches are often linked to Vata imbalance caused by stress, tension, and dryness. Warm sesame oil helps calm the nervous system and relax the body. 2️⃣ Why it works: Sesame oil is rich in healthy fatty acids and Vitamin E, which nourish tissues, support nerve health, and reduce muscle tightness around the head, neck, and shoulders. That’s why it’s commonly used for tension-related and stress-triggered migraines. 3️⃣ With regular use, many notice: • Reduced head and neck tension • Better relaxation and sleep • Less frequent stress-induced headaches Its grounding nature helps the body shift from a stress state to a calm state. 4️⃣ Another powerful benefit: full-body relaxation. Foot massage with sesame oil before bed helps activate pressure points, calm the mind, and support deeper sleep — an important factor in migraine management. 5️⃣ How to use safely: • Nasya: 4–5 drops of lukewarm sesame oil in each nostril (only if suitable) • Massage (Abhyanga): Apply warm sesame oil on temples, forehead, and neck • Foot massage: Massage soles before bedtime ⚠️ Use only pure, food-grade sesame oil. ⚠️ Avoid if you have a sinus infection, a cold, or chronic severe migraines without medical advice. #wellness #nasya #lifestyle #migraines #migraineawareness
