Pangaea: Earth’s Supercontinent. Over 300 million years ago, nearly all land on Earth was joined together as one giant supercontinent — Pangaea. It existed for about 160 million years before breaking apart around 175 million years ago, giving rise to the continents we know today. Its formation and breakup reshaped Earth’s climate, ocean currents, and evolution forever. #Pangaea #PlateTectonics #Geology #EarthHistory #ContinentalDrift #Paleogeography #PrehistoricEarth #Supercontinent #ScienceFacts #AncientEarth #foryou #fyp #foryourpages #vibes #instagood #creatorsearchinsights

🌊 Did you know the Pacific Ocean is slowly disappearing? 😱 ------------------------------------------- The Pacific Ocean, the largest ocean on Earth, isn’t permanent. Scientists estimate it’s shrinking by 2–5 centimeters every year. That might sound tiny… but over millions of years, this steady change could cause the Pacific to close completely 😨. So how is an entire ocean vanishing? The answer lies beneath our feet 🌍. Earth’s outer shell is made of massive tectonic plates that constantly move, collide, and slide past each other. Around the Pacific, this movement is more extreme than anywhere else on the planet. Welcome to the Ring of Fire 🔥 — a horseshoe-shaped zone where about 75% of the world’s volcanoes 🌋 and nearly 80% of all earthquakes occur. This region surrounds the Pacific Ocean and marks areas where the Pacific Plate is slowly sinking beneath other plates. This process is called subduction ⬇️. As the Pacific Plate dives into Earth’s mantle, the ocean above it gradually gets smaller. Bit by bit, the Pacific is being consumed from the edges inward. Meanwhile, the Atlantic Ocean is doing the opposite 🌎. At the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, tectonic plates are pulling apart ➡️⬅️, allowing magma to rise and create new ocean floor. This means the Atlantic is growing wider every year. Over hundreds of millions of years, these slow movements could completely reshape Earth’s geography. Scientists believe this process may eventually lead to the formation of a new supercontinent known as Pangaea Ultima 🌐 — where today’s continents merge once again. Earth may feel stable, but it’s constantly changing — even oceans are temporary. 🌊 ------------------------------------------- #PacificOcean #EarthScience #MindBlowingFacts #DidYouKnow #RingOfFire #TectonicPlates #GeologyFacts #WorldFacts #PlanetEarth #ScienceReels #EducationalReels #FactReels #ViralReels #ExplorePage #FYP #AmazingEarth #VolcanoFacts #EarthChanges #FutureEarth #Pangaea

🌏Pangea (Pangeya) Yer tarixində, təxminən 300 milyon il əvvəl yaranmış nəhəng bir supermaterik idi. Bütün quru sahələri birləşərək tək bir massiv materik formalaşdırmışdı. Lakin Yer qabığının daim hərəkətdə olan litosfer plitələri zamanla Pangeanı parçalamağa başladı. Təxminən 200 milyon il əvvəl Pangea əvvəlcə iki böyük hissəyə – Lauraziya və Gondvanaya ayrıldı. Daha sonra bu hissələr də bölünərək indiki materikləri əmələ gətirdi. Bu proses milyonlarla il ərzində davam edərək Asiya, Afrika, Avropa, Şimali və Cənubi Amerika, Avstraliya və Antarktida kimi materiklərin formalaşmasına səbəb oldu. Bu gün də materiklər hər il bir neçə santimetr hərəkət edir və Yer üzünün görünüşü gələcəkdə də dəyişməyə davam edəcək. #rəsmiyyəiləöyrən #geographic #geographe #geography #müəllim #coğrafiyamüəllimi #coğrafiyahazırlığı #coğrafiyadərsi #coğrafiya #cografiya #təkmilləşdirməhazırlığı #təkmilləşdirmə #təkmilləşməhazırlığı #cografiyahazırlıgı #coğrafiyadansuallar #repititor #geografia🌎#müəllimlərini̇şəqəbulu #takipleşelim #followxfollow #follow4follow #takipkazan #fypageシ #pangea #gondvana #pangaea #kıtalar #tetis #okean #cografiyaöyrənək

When the Rain Lasted 2 Million Years!🌧️ Imagine a global storm that raged for two million years straight! That's the Carnian Pluvial Episode, a real-life cataclysm that rocked Pangaea 234 million years ago. 🤯 Volcanoes erupted for 5 million years, flooding the atmosphere with \text{CO}_2. This turned Pangaea's scorching desert into a world-spanning torrent of rain. This epic downpour wasn't a disaster, it was a rebirth. It reshaped the land, carved out new rivers, and set the perfect stage for the Rise of the Dinosaurs! Nature's power is truly unmatched. #dinosaurfacts #geology #ancientearth #Pangaea #sciencefacts #reelsinstagram #CarnianPluvialEpisode #volcanoes

Chapter - Late Jurassic: Rivers, Giants, and Air. The continent cracks with heat and lift. Pangaea stretches; faults yawn; young basins gulp water and sand. Monsoon bursts turn newborn rivers wild—braided channels split and rejoin, laying cross-beds that keep the memory of flow speed and direction. Over the glare, a pterosaur rides noon thermals. Hollow struts, fused shoulders, vast wings: ultra-low wing loading that lets sunlight become distance. Beneath it, a Diplodocus moves a living bridge of air. Bird-like sacs invade the vertebrae, lightening the neck and sweeping air in a one-way current that trades heat as it breathes. From the tree line, Allosaurus detonates into motion—femur and caudofemoralis pulling as the tail balances the pivot, a sprinter built for ambush, not miles. In the heat shimmer, Stegosaurus plates flush with blood, a skyline of radiators, billboards, and signals—functions that can overlap without apology. Down in stagnant coves, oxygen fades; bodies settle; minerals seep in. Permineralization begins. And across the floodplain, season after season stacks mud over sand—each layer a single breath of Jurassic weather, written in stone. #jurassic #pangaea #braidedrivers #monsoon #crossbedding #pterosaur #diplodocus #Dinosaur #pneumaticity #allosaurus #biomechanics #stegosaurus #thermoregulation #anoxic #taphonomy #fossils #geology #paleontology #earthscience #documentary #vfx #cgi #3danimation #scicomm #reels #mobilefirst

252 million years ago, Earth came within a hair's breadth of becoming a dead planet. No asteroid. No cosmic collision. Just the ground splitting open beneath a single supercontinent — and volcanoes that didn't stop erupting for a million years. The oceans turned acidic. The air became poisoned. Temperatures climbed so fast that life simply couldn't adapt. 96% of everything living in the sea vanished. 70% of everything walking on land — gone. Even insects, the most resilient creatures to ever exist on Earth, nearly didn't make it. That has never happened before. It has never happened since. The world didn't recover for 8 million years. And the only creature left standing on the empty land? A stubby, dog-sized reptile called Lystrosaurus — too tough, too adaptable, and too stubborn to die. This all happened on Pangaea. One supercontinent. Every piece of land you've ever stood on, once joined together into a single mass, while the planet tried to erase itself. That's the world we've been mapping. The Lost Atlas Volume I is now available — Earth's forgotten geography, properly researched and beautifully mapped. Link in bio. #thegreatdying #ancientearth #pangaea #earthhistory #thelostatlas

Over the last 3.3 billion years, Earth’s continents have never stood still. Vast supercontinents like Kenorland and Pangaea formed, only to be torn apart by the slow grind of plate tectonics. Mountains rose, oceans widened, and entire landmasses drifted thousands of miles—reshaping the planet we call home. The continents beneath our feet are travelers in deep time. #CreepyTok #TheAbyss #FoundFootage #DarkReels #AnalogHorror #MysteryReel #ViralArchives #CursedTape #BackroomsVibes #WeirdCore #RepostVault #ParanormalPages #TikTokRepost #DarkSideOfTheWeb #JarvisFiles #DeepTime #EarthHistory #ContinentalDrift #GeologyFacts #Pangaea #TectonicPlates #ScienceDocumentary
