It should be broad and include a lot of general human movements Carrying, wrestling, jumping, landing, crawling, tumbling, hitting, pulling, pushing, running, throwing & catching are all examples of that and none of this is specific for just football With young athletes spending more time today in a single sport, I think it’s critical that my work with them is providing them with more general physical preparation The list of movements can be expanded even more but these are some hihglights from a wide variety of movements that we do! • • • • #youthsport #youthtraining #youthathletes #youngathletes #longtermathletedevelopment

And the same way that we work hard in the gym should be how we work hard for our Savior - which means in all other aspects of our life. Daily. In places like Guangdong, PE isn’t just “go run around” — it’s actually taken pretty seriously from a young age. China has been pushing this idea of “ti jiao rong he” (sports + education together), meaning physical training is just as important as academics. Schools are encouraged to build daily exercise habits early, not wait until kids are older 🏃‍♂️ There’s also a big national focus on youth fitness in recent years — things like better stamina, coordination, eyesight, even posture. So instead of basic PE, you get these super structured classes where kids are learning balance, rhythm, teamwork… all at once 🏀🤹‍♂️ And honestly, Guangdong just takes it up a notch. Teachers there love turning PE into creative routines like this, so kids don’t even feel like they’re “training” — they’re just playing, but lowkey leveling up everything 😭 Meanwhile my PE class was just jogging one lap and calling it a day 😂 . . . #chinainsider #education

Physical training directly improves focus, energy, sleep, and stress management. If you have time to scroll or game, you have time to train for 30 to 45 minutes. Treat your body like a system that needs maintenance, not something you ignore until it breaks. 2. Letting school become your entire life🎓 Engineering is demanding, but it should not consume your identity. When classes, assignments, and exams are the only thing you think about, burnout comes fast. Having interests, routines, and goals outside of school actually makes you better at school because you are more balanced and mentally resilient. 3. Believing GPA matters more than people📚 Grades matter, but people matter more. Being social, meeting new people, and building relationships develops confidence, communication skills, and opportunities that no transcript can show. The engineers who win long term are the ones who know how to work with and connect with others. 4. Avoiding social life in the name of “grinding”📆 Locking yourself in your room and calling it discipline is a trap. Collaboration, study groups, clubs, and casual conversations help you learn faster and stay motivated. You do not need to go out every night, but you do need human connection to grow. 5. Telling yourself it’s impossible😓 Engineering is hard, but it is not impossible. Millions of people across the world have finished engineering degrees before you. You are not uniquely incapable. Once you stop telling yourself it is too hard, your actions change and your results follow. I’m a 3.9 gpa Mechatronics engineering student and I try my best to give you all the advice I wish I knew!
