You’re not stuck… you’re just rushing it. Most people don’t fail to heal because they’re broken. They fail because they skip steps, abandon what works, and try to force a timeline that biology doesn’t care about. I’ve been pain-free since 2014—and it didn’t come from doing more. It came from doing the right things, staying patient, and not letting my ego take over when I started to feel better. This is where most people mess it up. Watch this before you make the same mistake. https://www.powerrackstrength.com/why-youre-not-healing-from-your-back-pain/ To watch the full video, click the link below, the link in bio, or the link on my story!

Fixing pain isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing the right thing. Most people bounce between: • rest • random rehab • “pushing through it” • hoping it goes away That’s not a plan. That’s roulette. If you’re tired of guessing and want a clear path to training without pain… DM me “FIX” and I’ll show you what actually works (and what’s been keeping you stuck).

I got asked today: “What should I be thinking about to become pain free with my low back?” And I said… You’re asking the wrong question. Because pain free isn’t built from random tips. It comes from having a system. Here’s mine: • Load management – stop the spikes that keep triggering flare-ups • Training capacity – build a body that can actually handle your life • Recovery – sleep, stress, lifestyle (this gets ignored way too often) • Trunk capacity – strength and control where it actually matters • Movement confidence – stop fearing movement and start trusting it again But here’s what actually separates people: Consistency. Not motivation. Not the “perfect” plan. Consistency. Because when you’re consistent: • Load progresses properly • Recovery improves • Movement gets easier • Confidence builds The people stuck in the cycle: • Pain free • Push too hard • Flare up • Rest • Repeat The ones who break it just keep showing up and build properly. That exact cycle is why we’re building something new. In 2 weeks, we’re opening a program specifically for people stuck in that loop. • No random exercises • No guesswork • Just a clear system to actually move forward If that sounds like you, pay attention. Follow to make sure you don’t miss it. Save this if you’re done starting over

Dealing with an injury that just won’t seem to go away? Let’s talk about it for a bit. 🗣️ You don’t have a “bad back.” Or a “bad shoulder,” “bad hip,” or “bad anything.” 🤷‍♂️ You have a part of your body, rather, that hasn’t been rebuilt yet. 💭 Jeff came to me with debilitating back pain. Afraid to bend. Afraid to lift. Afraid to “mess it up” again. 😬 Today? He’s Zercher squatting. Doing loaded Jefferson curls with confidence. 🔥 And deadlifting 1.5x his bodyweight . . . for reps! 🏋️‍♂️ Not because we ignored the pain. Not because we rushed it. But because we respected it… and rebuilt him anyway. 🧱 We started light. We expanded range slowly. We added load with intention. We proved to his nervous system that his spine was strong, not fragile. 🧠 Most people with back pain do one of two things: 1️⃣ Avoid lifting forever 2️⃣ Randomly “test it” and flare up There’s a third path. A middle way if you will. ☸️ Structured progression. Guided exposure. Strength through full range. 📈 Your back is not made of glass. It’s made to adapt. 💪 If you’ve been scared to lift… If you’ve accepted “this is just how it is now”… If you’re tired of managing pain instead of eliminating it… Comment “FIX ME” below or send me a DM. 📲 Let’s rebuild you the right way. 🙇 #Strength #Rehab #Mobility #Hypertrophy #Recovery

Most of the research on fixing lower back pain is done by people who don’t actually understand exercise. And that’s a problem. Because the advice ends up being: “Don’t lift.” “Don’t run.” “Don’t load the spine.” But let me ask you something… Would you ask an electrician to do your plumbing? Of course not. So why are we letting people who don’t understand strength training tell us what the human body is capable of? They don’t understand progression. They don’t understand how you go from broken… to bulletproof. I know because I did it myself. I took a completely broken, rehabilitating back… and built it into the world record back extension. No surgery. Just progression.

I LOST MYSELF I was told I shouldn’t put a barbell on my back EVER again. Pushed tons of pain killers, exercises to do twice a week & they said surgery was my best option. Being a “Director of strength” this completely stole my identify… how could I teach others what I could no longer do myself? I researched, I studied & tried the most unconventional methods the PT & doctor never told me. The steps I took were to FIRST get out of pain: -I worked on my spine every day -I changed my sleep patterns & habits - learned how to recover better -I started treating my health like my strength & made it something I always wanted to improve in How I stopped letting pain come back -started strengthening my spine like I would any other exercise - I stopped training with my ego & let go of expectations -I stressed my body in new ways so I could be more durable - started managing my life stress better Being in chronic pain ISNT NORMAL, & if the advice you were given isn’t working it doesn’t take a plan you do two days a week to fix it. It takes dropping your ego of expecting a result to restructure your ENTIRE LIFE.

If you’re “feeling a little better”… but still can’t get back to the gym… What did you actually fix? If you still can’t lift, run, train, or move the way you want… you’re not better you’re just less irritated. And that’s where most people get stuck. They chase pain relief. They get temporary results. Then they hit the same ceiling… over and over again. Because pain was never the real problem. 👉 The problem was: • Limited mobility • Poor stability • No clear progression back to strength So yeah your pain went down… But your capacity never went up. And if your capacity doesn’t improve, you’ll always feel like you’re one wrong move away from being right back where you started. That’s why our approach is different. We don’t stop at “feeling better.” We: ✔ Restore how your body moves ✔ Build stability where you’re weak ✔ Progress strength in a way that actually lasts So you can train with confidence again—not hesitation. Because the goal isn’t just getting out of pain… It’s getting your life back. If you’re frustrated, stuck, and tired of guessing— You’re exactly who we built this for.

Has anyone actually explained why your pain keeps coming back? Or did they just treat the spot, tell you to rest, and send you on your way? If the same pain keeps returning, it’s not bad luck. It’s not your age. It’s not because you “train too hard.” It’s because no one took the time to find the why. Surface treatment might calm it down. But if the root isn’t addressed, it always shows up again. You don’t need another quick fix. You need real answers that actually make sense for your body. If you’re ready to stop guessing and finally understand what’s really going on, DM us “BACK” and let’s get you answers. 🏋️‍♀️

I’ve worked with people dealing with back pain for weeks, months, and decades. And I’ll tell you this straight up. The hardest part of a back injury isn’t the pain. It’s what happens mentally when training gets taken away. For a lot of us, training isn’t just exercise. It’s therapy. It’s structure. It’s where stress gets burned off and confidence gets built. When that outlet disappears, anxiety gets louder, identity gets shaken, and momentum feels like it’s slipping away. Recovery isn’t time off. Recovery is training. The target just changes. Walking becomes training. Moving well becomes training. Building capacity and resilience becomes training. You’re still an athlete. You’re just playing a different game for a period of time. Change the target, stay in the game, and earn the right to train pain free for decades instead of rushing back and staying stuck. YOUR PAIN GOES AWAY… THEN COMES RIGHT BACK That’s not healing. That’s a cycle. ⸻ WHAT’S ACTUALLY HAPPENING You reduce the pain… But never fix what caused it. So it feels better for a few days— then the same movement brings it right back. ⸻ WHY THIS KEEPS HAPPENING You’re relying on: • rest • stretching • temporary relief Instead of correcting: • movement patterns • strength imbalances • joint stability ⸻ EXAMPLES Shoulder feels fine… until you press or lift overhead Knee feels fine… until you squat or run Back feels fine… until you bend or load it That’s not random. That’s unresolved mechanics. ⸻ THE REAL ISSUE The pain isn’t the problem. It’s the compensation behind it. And every time you ignore it… You reinforce the same pattern. ⸻ THE FIX You need to: • identify the root cause • restore proper movement • strengthen the weak areas • progressively load it back That’s how you break the cycle. ⸻ THE TRUTH If it keeps coming back… It was never fixed. ⸻ If you’re dealing with pain that won’t stay gone and want to fix it the right way… DM REDDING ACTIVE PHYSICAL THERAPY and we’ll help you figure it out.
