Praca z traumą z poziomu somatycznego, to zmiany w: - elastyczności układu nerwowego - przestajemy nadmiernie reagować naszymi wyrytymi, sprawdzonymi wzorcami ochrony i obrony życia - autonomicznych kompetencjach na kontenerowanie, pomieszczanie naszych odczuć, emocji, stanów etc. Potrafimy sobie towarzyszyć w coraz to większej ilości, złożonych doświadczeń. - dostępie do życia. Mamy wrażenie, że jest więcej nas w nas! These exercises, and dozens more, are some of the simple experiential practices that we do every week in the body first healing program’s somatic resource and reset call, a.k.a. the nervous system gym. Your body was innately built and hardwired for healing, wholeness, and regulation. Rediscover the incredible tools and capacity that lie within. Join me in the body-first healing program 🤎 Give these a try and let me know how they land! **Note: somatic practices should not be used as a way to BYPASS the very natural and often necessary somatic experiences of the body. Rather, we should use them in moments when our experiences feel intolerable, as a way to bring down high activation. We bring in these practices or resources to regulate our experience, keep it manageable, then process through the body. Every somatic practice will land differently with each unique body and nervous system. Please modify according to your personal needs. Ready for a nervous system deep dive? Drop me the word UNSTUCK and I’ll send over my free 2-day nervous system mini-course! #nervoussystem #somaticexperiencing #vagusnerve #bodyawareness #mindbodyconnection #somatictherapy #somaticexercises #nervoussystemhealing #anxiety #flightresposne

…because I know you can’t get enough of nervous system support practices! 🧠💫 Here is one of my favorites to support moving into the ventral vagal state of calm and connected. This reset helps tone your vagus nerve and also helps to re-balance your mind and body. It does this via the movement in your upper spine (cervical + thoracic) and via the lateral eye movements. It also functionally stimulates the vagus nerve via (adapted) lion’s 🦁 breath which is a beautiful yogic pranayama (breathwork) practice to help calm and tone the autonomic nervous system. Notice how this feels for you and if it resonates repeat 2-3X daily! ✨ Let me know 👇

The breath is one of the few activities our body does automatically without effort and yet when we bring awareness to it, we CAN manipulate it. Much like many of us live life. For many of us from the moment we open our eyes in the morning we are bombarded with noise, information, expectations, to dos, stress and fear. We are often so far in the hamster wheel we don’t realize how far we are from our own truth, our own sensations, our own feelings. The first step is to tap into our breath. Do you notice anything? What information do you receive? Is your breath short? Shakey? Deep? There are no wrong answers. Just notice. Sending you so much love on your journey today. 🫶🏼 PS if you noticed my stain on my shirt give me a 🫣#somatichealing #somaticexperiencing #somaticcoaching #embodiment #breath #jewishwomen #reallife #momlife #healing

People think understanding their trauma means they’ve healed it. They can articulate every wound, name every pattern, explain every defense mechanism. But they can’t feel it. They mistake psychological literacy for emotional integration. They analyze instead of grieve. Hermetic philosophy teaches that healing requires alignment across all planes: mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Trauma creates fragmentation. The mind splits from the body as a survival strategy. Peter Levine’s somatic experiencing explains: when emotions are too overwhelming, the prefrontal cortex suppresses the limbic system and the body freezes the energy. You can tell the story without accessing the feeling. This is called intellectualization. A dissociative defense. Neuroscience shows: insight alone doesn’t rewire trauma. The body holds the score. Until the nervous system completes the incomplete survival response, shaking, crying, rage, the trauma remains stored somatically. Knowing what happened to you isn’t the same as releasing what happened to you. Your mind can understand before your body is ready to feel. Healing isn’t about having the right words. It’s about having the safety to let the words dissolve into sensation. Have you noticed how clearly you can explain your pain, but how distant it feels when you try to touch it? We may never cross paths again. Follow so you don’t lose us - @iamcreationretreat

Trauma, when not processed and resolved, can leave us frozen in time. Here, the nervous system enlists the brain and body to armor up against a threat that has now passed. It’s as if the security alarm is going off, yet the danger is no longer found. Trauma reenactments and neurological loops of threat begin to form in our brain and body, whereby we ruminate, we obsess, we rehash. Healing begins when we get out of our head and into the safety of the present moment through the body. Why? Because the nervous system is an experiential system that operates through feeling, emotion, and sensation. It is not guided by thought or story, but rather the other way around. For this reason, we cannot simply tell or rationalize ourselves out of trauma. We have to feel our way out. Simple somatic practices of orienting, grounding, resourcing, and safely co-regulating…are wonderful ways to bring the nervous system back into the safety of the present. This is foundational to the work that we do in the body first healing program – a six month somatic trauma and nervous system healing roadmap. Fastest way to decompress from stress In Reptiles the lungs, heart and eyes are closely linked - hence the Lizard Stretch. In humans these make up our Ventral Vagal system for social engagement and inhibition of fight flight responses. The effects of this protocol are nothing short of remarkable - the body starts to course correct on all levels. - 3X Daily - Level 1 🙉 Hands behind head, face forward, bring eyes strongly left, hold until the point of ‘release’ 👉 Could be a yawn, a sigh, tears in the eyes or an urge to move. - Level 2 🫨 Lean the head left, move the eyes strongly right, until release. 👉 Sit a moment between each rep before moving to the other side - Level 3 🥱 Lean the head left, eyes right, but pull the head ever so slightly, until release. 👉 You might not feel much initially - stay with, it and over time the effects become super pronounced. This technique slowly restored regulation and helps the system break free from patterns of fight, flight and functional freeze. #fascia #somaticrelease #somaticexperiencing #nervoussystemhealing #somatics breathwork

What is Bioenergetics? It’s the missing link between why you know better… and why your body still reacts first. Through movement, breath, somatic release and emotional patterning, we teach the body to let go — so the mind can finally feel safe. If talk therapy hasn’t shifted it, If mindset hasn’t landed, If you still feel “stuck”… This is why. DM ENERGY for the intro guide. Mniejszych i większych kroków). ❤️ #trauma #aun #somatic #soma #somaticexperiencing #polivagaltheory #terapia #emocje

Some simple ways to restore nervous system balance and connect to the body (Disclaimer: that work for me) I believe we all have an innate healing intelligence. When we look to the natural world, we find clues on how to reconnect to it. Unlike humans, animals rarely suffer from chronic trauma, even after life-threatening events. After experiencing stressful situations, animals shake, tremble, move or vocalize instinctually. For example, a gazelle escaping a predator instinctively shakes off excess survival energy once it reaches safety. Thus completing the fight-or-flight cycle and returning to calm. We humans, however, often suppress these natural responses, either due to social conditioning. Or, we override our built in healing system with our complex mental defenses, like denial or distraction. When the body gets stuck in a survival state, it can lead to dissociation, anxiety, and even dis-ease over time. Our bodies hold memories, concepts, emotions, and beliefs—sometimes from our lifetime, sometimes from beyond. That also means that by working with the body, we can gently release what’s stored within. Somatic practices like movement, breathwork, trembling, and reconnecting with sensations tap into the body’s innate capacity to heal. It’s often about giving the body space and entering into a conversation with it, or working with a safe facilitator who can help guide us in safety. I’m still navigating my own journey with anxiety. It’s not about removing any negative emotions, but I know I can waver these moments and use tools to soften, and make my body an ally. One step at a time. We are wired for healing, and you’re not alone. Reach out🌿🤲 there is a lot of collective hurt and we heal better together I wish you the best life “The heart organically organizes and balances, if given the freedom to do so.” —Anodea Judith #SomaticHealing #NervousSystemRegulation #TraumaHealing #EmbodiedLiving #HealingThroughMovement #SomaticExperiencing #MindBodyConnection #HolisticHealing #somaticmovement #somatics #somaticexercises

Why Being ‘Too Nice’ Could Be Hurting You Being “nice” isn’t always as harmless as it seems. People pleasers often give up their authenticity, not consciously, but as a survival mechanism, to be liked, accepted, or loved. Over time, this habit can carry on in every part of life. Gabor Maté says in the video: “There are two ways to be nice:” 1️⃣ From genuine compassion and care for others – you’re kind, empathetic, and still grow in yourself. This is healthy. 2️⃣ From fear and self-repression – you’re nice because you weren’t loved for who you were, or you fear rejection. This kind of niceness comes at a cost. I worry about “very nice” people: when niceness comes from self-repression, this can put your mental, emotional, and even physical health at risk. You may ignore your own needs, avoid boundaries, or suppress anger, your energy pays the price. The key: ✅ Care for yourself while caring for others ✅ Learn to say no without guilt ✅ Set boundaries and honor your feelings When your niceness comes from a place of alignment and self-respect, it becomes powerful, an authentic form of self expression.. 💛 Video: @the.f.era . . . #nervoussystem #somaticwork #somaticcoaching #somaticexperiencing #somatichealing #somatictherapy #nervoussystemregulation #nervoussystemhealth #nervoussystemhealing #copingmechanism #perfectionism #traumainformed #gaborMaté #somatichealing #LiberationThroughYoga #mindbodyhealing #SelfAwareness #YogaJourney #EmbodyYourTruth
