Why are ADHDers so clumsy? It’s not carelessness. ADHD impacts executive functions - including coordination, spatial awareness, and attention. 👉 Your brain is constantly jumping between stimuli, so your body can miss small details… like where the table actually is. How to reduce clumsiness with ADHD: • Slow down transitions (rushing = more accidents) • Keep spaces minimal (less objects = fewer collisions) • Use “pause before move” (1-second check before standing/walking) • Don’t multitask while moving (this is a big one) If this is you… you’re not broken. Your brain just works differently 💜 Follow us for more ADHD tips & comment ADHD and I’ll send you a free test. @unique_adhd @unique_adhd @unique_adhd #adhdawareness #adhd #adhdwomen #adhdproblems #adhdsupport

ADHD isn’t broken focus.
It’s a brain trying to survive information overload.👇 If you have ADHD, your brain doesn’t calmly go
“this matters” → keep
“this doesn’t” → discard. Instead, everything shows up at the same volume. The main idea.
A side note.
A random example.
A sentence that might be important. All equally loud. So highlighting isn’t really about emphasis.
It’s triage. Your brain going:
“Please… just let me remember something.” Here’s the part most people don’t understand:
ADHD is closely tied to limited working memory. Which creates this constant background fear while reading:
“If I don’t mark this now, it’s gone.” Highlighting also sneaks in a dopamine hit:
• a small physical action
• instant visual feedback
• the feeling of progress So you end up:
✔️ highlighting most of the page
✔️ feeling productive
✔️ finishing the chapter
❌ remembering almost nothing That’s not laziness.
That’s a coping strategy. If highlighting feels automatic, don’t try to stop it - contain it. What works better for ADHD brains: 1️⃣ The one-sentence rule
After a paragraph, write ONE sentence in your own words.
No highlighting until that sentence exists. 2️⃣ Question-based highlighting
Only mark text that answers:
“Why does this matter?”
“How would I explain this to someone else?” 3️⃣ Color = function (not vibes)
🟡 definition
🔵 example
🔴 test-relevant If you can’t explain why it’s highlighted… don’t highlight it. But also don’t feel bad for highlighting a bit more..that’s just how your brain works 💙

So many people still think ADHD always looks the same — hyperactive, impulsive, all over the place. But there’s also ADD — the quieter type, where your mind never stops, but your body might seem calm. How did your brain react? 🤔 Did you feel immediate relief or was it too intense? ADHD overthinking often feels like mental static, like having a million browser tabs open, but none of them are loading. 🤯 That’s where the power of 852 Hz comes in. 🎵 Often called the ‘Frequency of Intuition,’ it helps cut through the internal noise. For many ADHD brains, it feels like someone finally turned down the volume dial, helping you reconnect with your focus. 🧠 Need more tools to quiet the noise? My ebook, THE ADHD PLAYBOOK 📖, is packed with 134 strategies that helped me go from surviving to thriving. 👇 Details in bio to grab your copy! 🫶

Many people grow up experiencing certain patterns without realizing they are connected to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Reading the same sentence again and again. Suddenly becoming productive late at night. Saying five minutes and somehow hours pass before a task actually starts. These everyday experiences are often connected to ADHD executive function and attention regulation. The brain may struggle with task initiation, time perception, emotional regulation, or maintaining focus when stimulation is low. For many people it does not look dramatic. It just feels like something about the brain works differently. That is why hidden ADHD signs often go unnoticed for years. What looks like distraction, procrastination, or overreacting can actually be patterns connected to how the ADHD brain processes attention, motivation, and emotion. Things I didn’t know were ADHD Hidden ADHD traits ADHD everyday behaviors A video explaining hidden everyday traits connected to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder such as rereading sentences, late night productivity, and difficulty starting tasks. The content explores ADHD executive function, time blindness, and emotional regulation. #ADHD, #ADHDawareness, #neurodiversity, #ADHDbrain, #mentalhealth 🧠
