Ela segue 6 princípios base: 1️⃣ Cliente-Servidor: separa a interface (cliente) da lógica e dados (servidor). 2️⃣ Interface Uniforme: comunicação padronizada usando HTTP e formatos como JSON. 3️⃣ Stateless: cada requisição é independente, sem depender de sessões salvas. 4️⃣ Cacheável: respostas podem ser armazenadas para evitar requisições repetidas. 5️⃣ Sistema em Camadas: permite proxies e gateways sem o cliente perceber. 6️⃣ Code on Demand (opcional): o servidor pode enviar código (ex: JS) para o cliente executar. We often say “Rest in Peace” after someone dies. But I wonder—why do we say it only then? Why don’t we wish people to live in peace while they are still alive? We assume that living people already have peace or they can not have peace. Life would be much more beautiful if we created peace while we are alive, not after we are gone. I remember a story from school. A king told a man that he could own as much land as he could cover in one day, as long as he returned before sunset. The man started running and kept watching the sun. He covered a lot of land, but he wanted more. He forgot his limits, and while trying to return before sunset, he fell and died. The lesson is simple: as humans, we often forget when to stop and return, even when we already have enough. Creating wealth is not wrong. But creating it by losing our peace and health is not worth it. We should create a life where we can live in peace and rest in peace while we are alive, not only after we are gone.

Miss even one… it’s not truly REST. 1️⃣ Client–Server Separation Frontend & backend are independent 👉 UI doesn’t care how server works 👉 server doesn’t care about UI 2️⃣ Stateless Each request is independent 👉 server doesn’t remember past requests Example: Every request must include: • auth token • required data 3️⃣ Cacheable Responses should be cacheable 👉 improves performance 👉 reduces load 4️⃣ Uniform Interface (MOST IMPORTANT) This is where people fail. 👉 consistent endpoints 👉 proper use of HTTP methods Example: • GET → fetch • POST → create • PUT/PATCH → update • DELETE → remove Not: 👉 /getUsers, /deleteUserNow 💀 5️⃣ Layered System Client doesn’t know: 👉 is it hitting server? 👉 proxy? 👉 cache layer?
