📍Romford - @arrayessex Cuisine - ‘Japanese BBQ inspired’ Category - Casual/Fine Dining 👔 After being in business for a year, Array has well and truly created a name for itself; becoming Essex’s new favourite restaurant, lounge and bar. The interior of the whole restaurant (even bathroom) is stunning, extremely instagrammable! 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝: 🍽 🍽 🍽 🍽 🍽= Excellent Cuisine seemed more European with some Japanese flavours rather than ‘Japanese BBQ’. Those ‘dynamite prawns’ were plump and succulent, the best I’ve had…(yes better than @pfchangsasiantable ). The ‘Wagu beef sliders’ were extremely juicy, loaded with cheese and a delicious smokey sauce. Though the ‘chilli baby squid’ was nice, it was my least favourite starter. Liking the sound of boneless chicken and truffle mash, the choice of main was definitely the right one. Flavourful and tender, thankfully I could taste the truffle in the mash. ‘Grilled rack of lamb’, 😅 wow, phenomenal! Finally a place that has put effort into mocktails (non alcoholic mixed drinks). Hands down the finest virgin drinks I’ve tasted from a UK restaurant. To end a already successful meal; warm chocolate melted over fresh strawberries and cold salted caramel ice cream, what’s not to love? 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞: 🍽 🍽 🍽 🍽 🍽= Excellent It’s not often service is great that I feel the need to praise the waitress to the manager. However our waitress was extremely attentive. Tables were wiped and cutlery was replaced between courses. I was also ushered to the toilet instead of given directions, top service. I dined here to celebrating my wedding anniversary, without asking the chef wrote ‘Happy Anniversary’ on the dessert plate accompanied with a sparkler. Making the meal even more memorable. Highly recommend for an occasion or date night. 🥂 🧾 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫: 2X Promstar Martini Virgin 2X Virgin Mojito Wagyu Beef Slider Dynamite Prawn Chilli Baby Squid Off The Bone Chicken Grilled Rack of Lamb Mac & Cheese Creamy Mash potatoes Melting Chocolate Bomb 💳: £179.30 (including service charge) 🧍🏽‍♀️X2 Halal, pescatarian and vegetarian friendly.
