Elite athletes across every sport use positive self-talk — and it’s not just motivation, it’s science. 🧠📚 Studies show it sharpens focus, builds resilience, and boosts performance under pressure. Whether it’s a gold medal moment or getting through a tough session, what they say to themselves matters. 🏆🔥 Because success starts in the mind — and champions know how to speak like one. 💬💪 #PositiveSelfTalk #EliteMindset #ScienceBacked #TrainYourMind #MentalPerformance #SportsPsychology #Eunoia #MindsetMatters #InnerVoice #HighPerformance

🔹CREATIVITY🔹 A lot of athletes try and focus on playing “freely”. Playing with freedom is a great feeling in sports, but did you know there’s a way to train your brain to play with that creative freedom? Novak Djokovic is the best in the world at his sport. He trains this skill by listening to classical music while journaling, reading, and visualizing himself playing his sport. Research shows that listening to classical music can calm the nervous system, boost focus, and activate the creative parts of your brain. It helps you tap into that ‘flow’ state — where your mind is clear and your game feels effortless. By pairing classical music with high‐quality journaling and visualization — as world-class performers like Novak Djokovic do — you’re training your brain not just to react, but to create: to inhabit that space of flow where movement becomes expression and decisions feel spontaneous. This is training you to “play freely”. The 5 SECRETS IN DETAIL👇🏽 Whether you are an athelte on a world stage, a high performer just starting out, an exec or simply curious about building a stronger mindset, this is for you. I’ve studied the champion mindset for over 6 years and it all comes down to these 5 things; 1. Visualisation 3 x a week - mentally rehearse a self confident image. How do you want to talk? Walk? Interact? Practice getting good at it mentally. Do this for 5 mins - visualise your goals. Create laser focus and resilience. You can’t achieve or be what you can’t see - my book ‘VISUALISE’ explains in more detail how to do this. Comment ‘BOOK’ for the pre order link. 2. Champion self talk - power phrases - remove ‘can’t’ from your vocab. More becomes possible. - speak to yourself like a champion. It can be motivational or instructional. Use phrases like ‘I am’ or ‘this is tough but I’m tougher’ 3. Deliberate discomfort - growth happens on the other side of challenge - seek discomfort often to build resilience. E.g hard conversations, physical activity, discipline 4. T-Cup formula/ thriving in Pressure - created by Clive Woodward, Think correctly under pressure formula is incredibly powerful - pick 3 words you can say to yourself. E.g ground, smile, go. Or ‘breathe, zone in, attack’ (that was @serenawilliams) 5. Replace ‘fail’ with ‘fall’ - everyone gets rejected and loses all the time. But champions deal with it the best. - replace ‘fail’ with ‘fall’ - this will encourage you to get back up again (just like on a playground). It won’t feel so final. You can start any of these TODAY. And I would strongly encourage it. Never underestimate how much you can change your mind and results in a month. What would you add? This is part 1. Do you want part 2? ♻️ repost or share to help someone else become a champion 2 ways I can help: - I help elite atheltes, execs and high performers go from good to great by mastering their mind and performance. Dm me ‘MIND’ if you want to accelerate this process. - if you want to learn how to think, feel & perform like the top 1% my book ‘VISUALISE’ is available to pre order + over £1000 in prizes. Why Athletes Must Visualize to Succeed Visualization is a powerful tool that helps athletes achieve success. By mentally rehearsing their performance, athletes can enhance their focus, confidence, and readiness. Here’s why visualization is crucial: 1. Improves Focus: Visualization trains the mind to concentrate on specific goals and actions, reducing distractions during actual performance. 2. Boosts Confidence: Seeing themselves succeed in their mind’s eye builds self-belief and reduces anxiety. 3.Enhances Performance: Mental practice activates the same brain regions as physical practice, improving muscle memory and coordination. 4. Prepares for Challenges: Visualizing different scenarios helps athletes anticipate and effectively handle challenges. 5. Reinforces Goals: Regular visualization keeps athletes aligned with their goals, maintaining motivation and commitment. Incorporate visualization into your routine to see real results on the field! 🏅 #Visualization #AthleteMindset #PeakPerformance

‘Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.’ If you’re an athlete and tired of training consistently but not seeing the result you deserved then SAVE this post & keep reading ↓
Improving as an athlete involves a combination of factors, not just consistent training Here are 5 reasons I see lots of athletes neglects that hinders their growth: 1️⃣ Poor mindset You may have heard this a hundred times, but its 100% true. No matter how good you are, if you can’t train your mind to handle pressure during competition, you will never be able to perform at your best. Practice mindfulness techniques, visualization, and positive affirmations to train your mind as diligently as you train your body. Focus on what you can control, not the outcome. 2️⃣ Openness to learning The best athletes are always open to learning and feedback While those who never reach their full potential are often those who think they have learned and know everything Learn to embrace a growth mindset and be open to constructive criticism Ask questions, seek feedback, analyze the pros and your own game, be like a sponge. 3️⃣ Training style It’s not just about how much you train, but how you train. Train with intention, intensity, specificity and progression If you’re an athlete but trains like a bodybuilder in the gym, start training like an athlete Follow my page to learn how 😉🤝🏻 4️⃣ Lack of a clear goal People who think they lack motivation/discipline often lack a clear goal instead It’s hard to push yourself when you dont have a clear direction of where you’re heading Define specific, measurable, achievable, and time-bound goals 5️⃣ Neglecting the fundamentals outside of training The difference between the good and great players is often the things people dont see behind the scenes Everyone can go hard in training for 2 hours But not many are willing to commit for the rest of the 22 hrs Start taking your recovery and nutrition seriously if you want to see massive improvements ___ #athletemindset #athletes #trainlikeanathlete #fitness
