Learn how to accelerate from @nojo18 ‼️ Acceleration is all about how much horizontal displacement we can create and how fast we can create it by applying force into the ground in the proper direction and applying it fast. A few things we need to do this: good hip flexion, good hip extension, & stiff ankles. These qualities are a result of a consistent strength training plan that includes heavy lifting, explosive lifting, plyometrics and SPRINTS. There is no substitute for quality sprint work. Everyone wants the easy way to get fast. It doesn’t exist. Work hard, be consistent and then results will come. Incorporating sprint drills into your routine may not directly make you faster but it can put you in the desired positions. #sprintdrills #sprintmechanics #speedtrainers #athletetraining #howtosprint
