Does that really come the spine decompressing? The answer is: hardly so. While the discs might temporarily decompress for 1-3mm the majority of visible difference comes from the relaxation of the muscles around the shoulder blades. Deadhand is an excellent exercise for everyone but calling that decompressing your spine is somewhat misleading. That being said I still encourage you to hang.
