This creates a slight twist at the beginning — just make sure you finish with your torso roughly parallel to the floor and both shoulders even. ❌Stop doing cable ROWS like this!! . ❗️Use this tip to take your cable rows to the next level! . ❗️The seated cable row is all seriousness is a great exercise and utilizing the baby v bar is not the best attachments because it’s incongruent with arm path. . ❗️We need to understand that with this little close bar, it’s not allowing us to actually pull the bar further without internally rotating those shoulders, therefore not allowing that arm to naturally come further back because the small attachment is pulling you in. . 👉ideally a shoulder width handle would be best when doing them. When we do it underhand grip and pull those elbows to the hips, we bias more lats, when we grab overhand and wider, and pull higher, we are hissing more upper back - traps, rhomboids, rear delts. . ⚠️ Be more intentional and understand that sometimes the attachments or machines we have available to us may not “fit” for our bodies. Sometimes adjusting our body to “fit” the machine or utilizing a different attachment is the best option. . 👉Without being able to fully shorten lat it leaves me at a disadvantage with this specific exercise utilizing this toddler attachment, so I explain what you can do to optimize it and make it more efficient for you. . ⚠️Also understand that full protraction and retraction is necessary to fully work the musculature of the back, so get really good at that! Pay attention in the video, I explain it all! .
