Battle Rope Technique Tips Do: -Stay Low -Lock In Your Core -Work from the Hands -Short, Quick Reps Don’t: -Stand Up Tall -Round the Back -Swing the Shoulders -Long, Choppy Reps Everyone’s favorite station! Battle Ropes should be short and quick movements when performing singles. Think about it like you are playing a drum solo. If you are getting too long with the arms and swinging the shoulders you will get out of rhythm with the ropes and will have to work harder to keep them moving. Keep your elbows pinned to your side and think about working from your hands to create the movement. A good option if you struggle to keep your shoulders out of the movement is to drop one rope and use a single with two hands. This will teach you to shorten your technique, at a lighter weight, and once you feel comfortable it will easily translate back into using both ropes. #f45training #trainertips #battleropes #fitnessmotivation
