I took this regularly in the past and I just started it again. I feel GEWWD. #Recipe 1. Roast 4 tbsp #blackseed for 2 minutes on low 2. Roast 3 tbsp #blacksesame seed for 7 minutes on low 3. Grind both seeds and place in storage container 4. Mix mix mix 5. Add 220 grams #Manukahoney and combine thoroughly 6. Place in the fridge. It will last up to 3 months.

Welcome to part 2 of my black sesame series, where we discuss the health benefits of these tiny nutritional powerhouses and share delicious ways to eat them 🖤 Black sesame seeds have this deep, nutty, slightly bitter flavour that makes things like lattes, cookies, blondies, and ice cream taste amazing 🤤 Best of all, they're rich in copper, iron, calcium, magnesium, and zinc, minerals linked to stronger, darker, healthier-looking hair. Enjoy a tablespoon of this creamy black sesame paste (black tahini) daily and tell me if you notice a difference (not overnight obv!) 👀 👉🏼 Save, share, and follow @nutriholist for more tasty recipes coming ✨ Black Sesame Paste / Tahini (part 2 - blender method) 3 cups black sesame seeds 1–2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil (optional) Lightly toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring often, until fragrant and lightly popping. Remove from heat and cool completely. [This time I skipped the toasting step and it tasted pretty much the same. So I'd say it's optional.] Add the seeds to a high-speed blender. Start blending on low, then increase to high. Use the tamper to keep everything moving. Blend until the seeds break down and release their natural oils, forming a thick paste (about 30–90 seconds). If needed, add toasted sesame oil to help the mixture turn smoother and creamier. Scrape down if needed, then blend again until silky. Store in a sealed jar in the pantry for up to 2 weeks or in the fridge for up to 2 months. Black Sesame Paste 🖤 Rich, nutty, nutritious and SO delicious when added to drinks or desserts! You only need 1 ingredient and a little bit of patience to make your own at home 👉 Make sure you SAVE this post and try it out!! Ingredients: 2 cups (300g) black sesame seeds * I prefer to keep it plain then add extra things like sweetener + salt later, depending on what I'm using it for. Method: 1. Add the black sesame onto a dry pan and toast on low heat for 5 minutes until fragrant. Since the seeds are black, ensure you stir or toss often to prevent burning. 2. Transfer directly into a blender or food processor and process until it becomes a fine meal. Use a spoon to scrape down the sides as needed and then continue the process on low to medium speed until the seeds release their natural oils. It should eventually become a smooth and runny paste. This can take up to 20 minutes depending on your appliance. **NOTE: If using a blender, a tamper is a MUST otherwise it won't blend properly. Otherwise, a food processor would usually be the better option! 3. Transfer into a clean airtight jar. Enjoy! DRINK OPTIONS: 1️⃣ Hot black sesame latte: Add 2 tbsp black sesame paste into a mug then pour in a splash of hot/steamed milk. Whisk well to loosen and dissolve the paste then pour in the remaining milk. Sweeten to taste and enjoy. 2️⃣ Iced black sesame matcha latte (in video): Add 2 tbsp black sesame paste, 2 tbsp boiling water and 1 tbsp maple syrup to a jar and whisk well. I love black and long… hair And in Hong Kong, Black sesame cakes are going viral, so let’s make… high protein, no sugar black sesame jelly cake @katlieu ingredients: 2 cups hot water 3 tablespoons gelatin 2 cups of Greek yogurt or mix 1 cup Greek yogurt with 1 cup cottage cheese 2 tablespoons black sesame paste Sugar or sweetener to taste- I used allulose syrup which is zero calorie and sugar free Blend until very smooth, bubbles are okay- the cake will be more mousse-like Pour into two medium sized bowls Refrigerate for at least 3 hours If not sweet enough, serve with a drizzle of syrup of sweetened condensed milk! This cake is gluten free and high in protein and sugar free if you use sugar free sweetener! To start, blend or mix all the ingredients together.
