1. Food sensitivities are NOT the cause of your bloating & chronic digestive issues. They’re the result of an imbalanced gut microbiome, poor digestion, and increased intestinal permeability. Cutting more and more foods old out your diet will not heal your gut. 2. If you feel uncomfortably bloated after eating fiber, garlic and/or onion - it’s not a food issue. You have a bacterial overgrowth in your gut. By rebalancing your gut microbiome, you can increase your tolerance to these foods again. 3. If you feel more bloated, get stomach pain/cramps, or run to the bathroom after eating foods like avocado, bone broth, collagen, kombucha, spinach or sauerkraut...you have a histamine issue. Most histamine issues are really gut & liver issues. 4. Digestion actually starts in the brain - not the stomach! If your nervous system is always activated (in fight-or-flight), you won’t digest your food well. You’ll produce less stomach acid & fewer enzymes to actually digest you food. Taking 6 deep belly breaths & really chewing your food well is one of the most powerful things that you can do to decrease bloating + pain. 5. 🦴✨Bailey’s Bone Broth Recipe✨🦴 🤎Ingredients: 🦴~1.5-2kg Beef marrow bones 🦴~1kg Chicken feet 🦴4-5 Carrots 🦴3 stalks Celery 🦴1 cup Blueberries (or apples, I alternate!) 🦴1 bunch *Curley* Parsley 🦴1/2 cup Apple cider vinegar 🦴A pinch of salt 🦴Water 🤎Method: 1. Add beef marrow bones, chicken feet, carrots, celery, parsley and blueberries to a slow cooker 2. Add just enough water to cover the bones and vegetables 3. Add the salt and vinegar 4. Slow cook on low for 12-16 hours 5. Turn off and allow to cool 6. Remove bones and strain broth into a large bowl 7. *Optional: Purée carrots, celery and blueberries to create a veggie purée that can be portioned, frozen and added your dogs meals or given as a refreshing treat! 8. Place the broth into the fridge overnight 9. Discard the fat layer 10. Portion out and freeze. Your broth should be a nice jelly-like consistency! Just reheat whenever you want to serve Serving tips: I like to heat up the broth and pour over Bailey’s dinner or serve as a frozen block on hot days! *make sure to use Curley parsley, not flat parsley like I did in the video, as it can be toxic to dogs!! #dogfood #bonebroth #slowcooker

I know the bone broth purists aren’t going to like this, but you can actually get the same result as 24 hour bone broth in 3 hours if you use a pressure cooker. I used to do the whole 24 hour thing and it became too tedious with the amount of broth we consumed. I had the idea to speed up the cooking time by pressure cooking and have never gone back. I get the same result in a fraction of the time and have seen the same health benefits. I struggled with severe gastritis, h. Pylori and many other health issues and this is one of my must-haves every day for optimal health. Bone Broth Recipe 1 lb bones (beef or chicken) 3 lbs meaty bones 2-3 carrots 3-4 stalks of celery 1 medium onion 10 peppercorns 3 bay leaves 1 teaspoon sea salt 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar 3 quarts of water (filtered is optimal) Bring everything to a boil. There will be a brown foam that rises to the top. Skim it off. Cover and build pressure. Lower to medium heat and let it simmer for 2.5 to 3 hours. Strain and enjoy. Don’t forget to press the broth out of the vegetables for flavor and heath benefits. Also, take the meat off the bones and use it for pot pie or lasagna or any recipe that calls for shredded chicken. I simply sauté with bell peppers and onions and use it for sandwiches. #bonebroth
