Activate Yeast:⁣ In a large bowl, combine warm milk, warm water, sugar (or honey), and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.⁣ 2. Make Dough:⁣ Add butter, salt, and egg (if using). Stir in flour 1 cup at a time until a soft dough forms. Knead 6–8 minutes until smooth and elastic.⁣ 3. First Rise:⁣ Place dough in a greased bowl. Basic Homemade Bread 🍞 🍞 Dough Ingredients: 1. 450g (3 cups) bread flour 2. 8g (2 teaspoons) instant yeast 3. 6g (1 teaspoon) fine sea salt 4. 35g (2,5 tablespoons) granulated sugar 5. 250g (1 cup) whole milk 6. 1 whole egg (50-54g) 7. 42g (3 tablespoons) unsalted butter 🍞 Instructions: 1. Knead the dough by mixing the dried ingredients together first. Then add egg, start kneading. Pour milk slowly while kneading. When the ingredients have come together, add butter spoon by spoon and keep kneading until the dough is smooth, nothing sticks to your hands or the mixing bowl. 2. Proof the dough for 1 hour or more until rises at least double in size. 3. Punch and knead for a couple of minutes to release air bubbles. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a large rectangle. Then tightly roll it into a tube that fits in your loaf pan. I use 9”x5” pan. 4. Proof again for 60 minutes or more until the volume has increased at least double in size. 5. Brush egg wash and bake at 350F ~ 180C for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Dieses Brot ist so saftig… es bleibt 4 Tage frisch und ohne Schnickschnack! Es ist wirklich ein kleines Wunder… Super einfach gemacht und du brauchst nur Zutaten, die du fast immer zu Hause hast! Durch die Buttermilch und die Möhren wird es unglaublich saftig, fluffig und bleibt tagelang frisch. Und diese Kruste… einfach nur perfekt! Perfekt für deinen nächsten Brunch oder einfach so zwischendurch. Jetzt mal ehrlich: Bist du Team selber backen oder Team zum Bäcker laufen? Schreib’s mir in die Kommentare! Kennst du jemanden, der IMMER zum Bäcker rennt? Schick ihm dieses Reel, vielleicht ändert sich das heute! Übrigens die Möhren im Brot sorgen nicht nur für Saftigkeit sondern sie machen das Brot auch natürlich länger haltbar, ganz ohne Zusatzstoffe! Zutaten: 470-490 g Buttermilch 6 g frische Hefe 800 g Dinkelmehl Typ 630 16 g Salz 200 g Möhren, fein geraspelt Zubereitung: Die Hefe in der Buttermilch auflösen. Dann die fein geraspelten Möhren dazugeben. Mehl und Salz hinzufügen und alles zu einem geschmeidigen Teig verkneten. Den Teig abdecken und ruhen lassen, bis er sich deutlich vergrößert hat (ca. 1–2 Stunden, je nach Temperatur). Anschließend auf die Arbeitsfläche geben, zu einem schönen Laib formen und auf Spannung bringen. In den Ofenmeister legen, Deckel drauf und in den kalten Backofen stellen. Bei 235 °C Ober-/Unterhitze ca. 55–60 Minuten backen. Nach dem Backen unbedingt etwas abkühlen lassen… auch wenn’s schwerfällt Dann anschneiden & genießen! #brot #buttermilch #möhren #backen #einfach
