And one small upgrade can make your scar work more effective over time: ✨ Applying gentle heat before massage helps the tissue relax. It improves circulation, softens the area slightly, and makes the scar more responsive to massage. Does heat magically erase a C-shelf? No. But does it help your massage work with the tissue instead of against it? Absolutely. I had a pretty extensive belly skincare routine during my third trimester and now that I’m in my fourth, I’ve incorporated new techniques, tools, and skincare ingredients to help with my c section shelf and scar healing.
