ep 1: stuffed cabbage rolls🥬 follow @itsuofficial for more recipes💛 full recipe below👇 ingredients [makes 2 servings / 12 rolls]: 🍗 250g ground meat [we used chicken] 🧅 1/2 white onion [diced] 🥕 1 small carrot [diced] 🥬 1 large chinese cabbage 🫚 thumb of grated ginger sauce mix: 🥄 3 tbsp soy sauce 🥄 2 tbsp mirin 🥄 4 tbsp itsu teriyaki sauce 🥄 1 tsp sesame oil 🥄 3 tbsp water start by seperating the outer leaves of the cabbage and thoroughly washing them. blanch for 20 seconds in salted boiling water and immediately remove. prepare the meat filling by sauteeing the diced core of the cabbage with onion, carrot, and ginger on medium heat. after 3 minutes add the ground meat, season with half of the sauce mix, and cook for 10 minutes. pat the blanched cabbage leaves dry and add 1.5 tbsp of the meat mixture, rolling tightly and tucking the sides in like a burrito. repeat until all the filling has been used. in a bit of sesame oil, fry the cabbage rolls then add the remaining sauce (with more teriyaki if needed). baste the cabbage rolls until the teriyaki has thickened, and enjoy over rice🍚 #cabbagerolls #cabbage #foodhack #easyrecipe

Chou farci I’ve been wanting to make this for ages! It’s a standout dish. I love that whole cabbage leaf on top! It’s showstopper but it’s actually so easy! If you’d like to give this a go but don’t feel the need to make it on this scale. This recipe works well when just stuffing individual leaves. Below is the recipe I used for a large version. #cabbage #stuffedcabbage #seasonalcooking #pork #mushrooms Ingredients - 1 whole large cabbage - savoy probably works best - 1kg pork mince - 1 large carrot - 1 onion - 2 celery sticks - 3 garlic cloves - 150g chestnut mushrooms - Thyme - Tomato paste - Nutmeg - 1 teaspoon allspice - 250ml chicken stock - Butter - 2 eggs - 75g dried breadcrumbs - Parsley - Salt - Pepper - Olive oil To start, take your cabbage, remove the core and separate the leaves. We want to keep the leaves as whole as possible. We’re going to blanch the leaves in boiling water for a couple minutes until they become malleable. Don’t boil them for too long or they’ll loose some of that great colour. Remove the leaves from the water and set them down on a tea towel to cool. Next take your pork mince, and brown it off with some olive oil in a large pot. Once it’s got a bit of colour, remove the meat and replace with your mirepoix of onion, carrot and celery. Slice up your garlic and add that in a minute or so later. Dice up your mushrooms and once the veg has softened add them into the pot. After a couple more minutes, return the meat to the pot. Season well with salt and pepper, a grating of nutmeg and a teaspoon of allspice. Next, squeeze in 2 tablespoon of tomato paste. Stir it in and then add in a cup of chicken stock. Cook this gently for about 5/10 minutes until the liquid has been cooked off. At this stage you can transfer across into a large bowl and allow to cool down.

Full Recipe in Caption 😉 For Salad: * 1/2 head of Green cabbage, chopped * 1 English cucumber or 3 Persian cucumbers, chopped * 1 cup shelled edamame * 4 stalks green onion, sliced thin * 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped fine (optional) * 1 can chickpeas, drained For Dressing: * 2 garlic cloves * 1/2 small white onion * 1 ripe avocado * 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice * 1 tsp salt * 4 tbsp tahini * 1/4 cup water * Additional Salt and pepper to taste 1️⃣ Preheat oven to 400 F. Place drained chickpeas in a sheet tray, drizzle with oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 20-25 mins or until crispy. Set aside and let cool. 2️⃣ Place the chopped cabbage, cucumbers, crispy chickpeas, chives (optional) and green onions in a large bowl. 
3️⃣ Add all the dressing ingredients to a blender or food processor. Blend until creamy. 
Pour the dressing over the cabbage mix and toss to combine. 4️⃣ Serve as is or as a dip and Devour!

Save this for your Easter menu 🤍 Ingredients Cabbage • 1 medium green cabbage • 2 tbsp avocado oil • Salt and black pepper Cream Sauce • 1 tbsp oil • 1 large shallot, finely diced • 5 garlic cloves, minced • 1 cup water + 1 tsp Better Than Bouillon (or 1 cup chicken broth) • 1 cup heavy whipping cream • 1 Boursin cheese • ¼ cup parmesan cheese • ½ tsp garlic powder • ½ tsp onion powder • ½ tsp Italian seasoning • Salt and pepper to taste Topping • ¼ cup parmesan cheese • fresh parsley (optional) Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove outer cabbage leaves and cut into 8 wedges, keeping the core intact. 2. Brush both sides with avocado oil and season well with salt and pepper. 3. Sear cabbage in a skillet over medium heat for a few minutes per side until golden. 4. Transfer to a 9×13 baking dish, placing wedges snugly together. 5. In the same skillet, cook shallot in oil for 3 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. 6. Pour in water with Better Than Bouillon (or broth) and let it simmer for a few minutes. 7.
