Try to find a college dorm better.. 👀 A couple of FAQ’s… Do I have to pay rent? No. Your living quarters, utilities, food, etc are paid for. Can I bring my Xbox/ Play Station? Yes. You can bring game systems, TV’s, car, etc. Is their a curfew? There is no curfew for your barracks/base. As a Marine, your day to day life is yours to spend how you choose outside of working hours (typically weekdays, 8AM-4PM). This.👇7 years ago instantlystirred raw emotions. Living with Derek & Gav at Camp Pendleton, in a camper. Blackhawks flew over, tanks drove by our camper, every day brought a new adventure. Gav’s recess was watching marines train, phy ed was body boarding. 6 months earlier we lived at a campground north of LA, known as the largest meth production operation. Talk about extremes. But that was our life. Why? No one in the country would perform brain surgeries except 2 brave surgeons at UCLA. This WAS the only option. I was ONE month into opening the 1st ever Mental Wellness Company. Disrupting the industry with new science was groundbreaking. The start was SLOW! People were too scared to pioneer with me & sat back & watched. There was NO comfort zone. Learning to drive a 42ft camper, navigating a new discovered disease, battling ins & health care, to building a new company, all while I chased wifi to work. Daily feeling I failed my family was the real battle I fought. But during the extreme exhaustion God opened my eyes. For the first time, I saw sunsets. Each one a masterpiece from the Almighty, no 2 the same. I did my best to describe them to Derek as he laid in bed. Our son became obsessed at painting them. One day Derek was well enough to sit outside. I remember this pic of him finally getting to see the ocean & watching a sunset with me. The walk from our camper to the chair (not far)yet was grueling for him. But he did it anyway. Thats when we witnessed the only foot prints in the sand. God was carrying all of us. Today, our son is 22. Look below at the oil paintings & sunsets he now paints. He will be famous one day. Our team has grown to over 330,000 people, millions use our brand, a new owner built our own manufacturing plant, teams of scientists are dedicated to research & development of clean holistic solutions to make our country healthy again. Don’t run away from hard seasons. Chase after every sunset. Let God opens your eyes, refine & equip you with courage, grit & relentless spirit. Because the pioneering has only begun.
