Most mums are training their core wrong… this is what actually works I’ve been teaching Pilates for over 20 years, and this is one of the first things I give mums who feel disconnected from their core. After pregnancy it’s about reconnecting the deep systems.Your deep core, especially your transverse abdominis (TA), acts like a corset. When it switches on properly, it gently draws the lower abdomen in and supports the pelvic floor. These exercise do exactly that. Think: 🤎 Neutral pelvis (no tucking or arching) 🤎 Ribs soft 🤎 Exhale to gently lift and connect through the core 🤎 Keep the movement small and controlled 🤎 Slow deep breaths into the upper back 🤎 soft squeeze of the ball Do this: 🫶🏼 quadruped hovers ( 10 each side) 🫶🏼quadruped rotations (10 each side) 🫶🏼 everyday for 2 weeks ( you can just use a small cushion or a rolled up towel instead of the ball) You should feel deep, subtle work, in the space between your pubic bone and belly button. This is how you rebuild strength that actually changes how your body looks and feels.
