Sleep apnea is not one-size-fits-all. It can be caused by: - The tongue - The throat - The roof of the mouth - Poor breathing mechanics - Structural issues (jaw, airway size) - Nervous system dysregulation - Environmental triggers - Other underlying medical conditions If we don’t identify the root cause, we can’t truly address it. For some people, CPAP is necessary. For others, there are additional or alternative ways to improve airway function and reduce dependence on it.
