Quick tips for CrossFit Open 26.3 before you hit your attempt 👀 Thrusters: The light bar is a trap. Don’t rush it. Stay smooth, breathe every rep, and remember to clean the first rep instead of standing it up then front squatting it. Burpees: This is where people blow up. Don’t come out too hot, keep your footwork efficient, and avoid worming your way up. Lead with the chest so you don’t burn out your arms for the thrusters. Barbell strategy: When the weight climbs, keep it simple: • Only add weight (don’t waste time changing plates) • Pick clips that are fast to use • When it gets remotely heavy for you, quick singles are your friend Small decisions like these can make a huge difference in your final score. Tested CrossFit Open 26.1 a bit😌🤏🏻 Tried to find a smooth flow on the box step-over with wall ball, but at first I kept spinning the same way and it made me motion sick🤣🤢 When I nailed it, it felt 10x easier🤯💪🏻 Trick: keep pressure on the same leg you step up with on top of the box, let the other leg follow, then pull with that foot to rotate🦶🏻🔄 That’s what I love about the Open, you build your own strategy and make simple movements more efficient😌💪🏻 Have you tried 26.1?🤩🫵🏻 #crossfitopen2026 #crossfitathlete #boxjumpover #wallball #crossfitgames

The 2026 CrossFit Open comes to an end ❤️ Winter and Sky were so excited to complete 26.3. All year they’ve been practicing squats with the bar and working on their burpees, so this workout ended up being perfect for them. It’s pretty amazing to watch a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old stay focused and move for 16 minutes straight with so much energy. Of course we scaled the weights because the official RX weights are way too heavy for them, but the effort, determination, and heart they bring is very real. We couldn’t fit everything into one reel because there was just too much good stuff. To be continued… And who knows… maybe next year the CrossFit Open will finally have a kids division ❤️ #crossfit #fitnessmotivation #crossfitkids #fitness #intheopen

Not many people have performed them, so how do you hold the ball? 👉🏻 Most people will default to holding the ball on the shoulder. It’s comfortable and it gets the job done. ❌ HOWEVER, the shoulders and traps work to hold that position which then has a carry over effect to wall-ball. ✅ Bear hugging the ball will be the most efficient way. It may not be comfortable but it saves the shoulders and traps for wall-ball! #Crossfitopen #stepover #crossfitgames #crossfit #workout

Nearly two years ago, I broke my leg attempting a 2 rep ring muscle-up. Since then, I’ve been a bit too scared to get back on the rings and try again, especially with a wrist that keeps playing up. But when the CrossFit Open 26.2 said the muscle ups were on the rings, I eventually found the courage to give it another shot! Unfortunately it was just after I had finished the workout but neither the less I still got back on them and did one! #crossfit #crossfitopen #crossfitopen26point2
