OLI LOVE a good em dash—it’s the perfect piece of punctuation! But I do overuse them, and anything that’s used too much can start to get distracting. Or worse. People might start pointing the AI finger at you. Although, is it just me, or does ChatGBT do em dashes in a very identifiable way? Example: “It wasn’t good — it was bad.” See the space around it? That’s not how I was taught to use em dashes. Is it just me?
