I kid you not the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had😩 here’s my recipe : DOUGH • 240g warm whole milk • 7g active dry yeast • 67g granulated sugar • 1 whole egg (50g) • 1 egg yolk (18g) • 57g melted unsalted butter • 390–420g all-purpose flour • 5g salt • 15g heavy cream (optional but makes them softer) FILLING • 113g softened unsalted butter • 200g dark brown sugar • 16g cinnamon • 8g cornstarch CARAMELIZED BOTTOM • 57g unsalted butter (softened) • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar • 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar CREAM CHEESE FROSTING • 113g cream cheese (softened) • 57g unsalted butter (softened) • 120g powdered sugar • 5g vanilla extract • Pinch of salt • 15–30g milk if needed ⸻ ⭐ INSTRUCTIONS 1. Mix warm milk + yeast + 1 tbsp sugar from the 67g you measured. Let sit 5–10 mins until foamy. 2. Add the rest of the sugar, egg, yolk, and melted butter. Mix. 3. Add flour + salt slowly. Knead 8–10 mins until dough is soft, smooth, and slightly tacky (not sticky). 4. Cover and let rise 1 hour until doubled. I usually place mine in a oven that I preheated and turned off 5. After an hour roll the dough out into a rectangle, spread filling evenly, roll up tightly, and slice into rolls. 6. Place rolls in baking dish that has the caramelized mixture on the bottom. 7. Let rise 30–45 mins or until puffy. 8. Pour little amount of heavy cream over the rolls 9. Bake at 350°F for 19–22 mins — pull them when they’re just golden for maximum softness. 10. Just proves my theory that everybody loves a cinnamon roll ❤️ Even better, NO stand mixer needed, and I prepped these rolls the night before, so all you have to do is bake and enjoy the next morning 🤓 This is my veganized recipe from @tastesbetterfromscratch (highly suggest heading to her blog post for more detailed instructions)! Listing my veganized recipe below ⬇️ To make, Dough: 2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast 1 cup warm soy milk, 105-110F (can use any milk of choice) 1/4 cup granulated sugar + 1/2 tsp, divided 1 tsp salt (if using Morton’s table salt, use 1/2 tsp) 1/4 cup vegan yogurt (can sub with egg) 1/3 cup unsalted vegan butter, softened (can use regular butter) 3 1/2 - 4 cups bread or all-purpose flour Filling: 6 Tbsp vegan butter, softened (can sub with regular butter) 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon Right before baking: Vegan (or regular) heavy cream, to drizzle on just before baking!! The only cinnamon roll recipe you’ll ever need!🤎 This is my best classic cinnamon roll recipe of all time. I make this recipe on repeat! Sometimes twice a month. They are topped with a creamcheese icing on top for extra flavor! 💫 Here’s what you’ll need: Dough: 550 g all purpose flour 200 ml luke warm whole milk 2 eggs (around 100 g of egg in total without shell) 100 g butter (room temp) 40 g fresh yeast or 12 g instant yeast 70 g sugar A pinch of salt Cinnamonfilling: Mix the following ingredients together: 150 g butter 150 g brown sugar 4-5 tsp of cinnamon Creamcheese icing: Whisk the following ingredients together: 100 g creamcheese 30 g powdered sugar 1 tbsp vanilla Dough Instructions: 1. Add the yeast in luke warm milk and stir till it dissolves. 2. Add the eggs, sugar and salt and stir again. Add the flour 3. With the dough hook attached to your kitchen machine, kneat the dough on medium speed for 3-4 minutes and add the butter. Increase the speed and mix for 8-10 minutes on high until you reach a “slippery dough”. 4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour. 5. After the dough have rested, it’s time to make the cinnamon buns. Dust some flour on the surface of your table and roll it into a 30x40’ish cm. rectangle. Spread out the cinnamonfilling and roll it up! 6. Cut the cinnamon roll into 12 equal rolls using some thread. Line the buns in a an ovenpan that fits around 12 rolls. 7. Cover the tray with plastic foil and a dishtowel and let them rise again for 40 minutes. 8. Bake at 200 °C (fan) for around 20-25 minutes covered with alluminium foi to prevent top from browing. 9. The best cinnamons rolls ever. If you’re wondering how you can get that many layers just roll out into a large flatten dough & then just start rolling it up. Cinnamon rolls 4 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 cup of warm milk 1/2 cup sugar 1 tablespoon of yeast 1 teaspoon salt 2 eggs 1/3 cup melted butter 1/2 heavy whipping cream 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 room butter room temperature 2 tablespoon cinnamon In a large bowl put the warm milk and yeast let it sit for 5 minutes. The mix in sugar, salt, eggs and butter. Finally add the flour mix for a minute and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then let it mix for 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and soft, but If the dough is to sticky add more de flour 1/4 cup each time until it feels like play dough. When the dough feels right use the oil on your hand knead in few more time and allow the dough to rest in a warm area covered with a warm towel for an 1 hour. In a bowl sugar, butter, Cinnamon mix until it’s combined. Set this aside. Once your dough has rised put a little bit of flour on the counter top and place the dough down and spread the dough into a large rectangle then spread the cinnamon all over your dough. Roll up the door and then use either a string or a knife and cut them into 2 inches thick Place the dough in a warm place and allow it to rise for another 30 minutes. Done four in the half cup of warm heavy whipping cream right on top of the cinnamon rolls. Then preheat the oven to 375°, place the cinnamon rolls in the oven for 23-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the over let them rest or if you like me eat the while there hot and pour the cream cheese mixture on top.
