Bats and dolphins echolocate to navigate the skies and the seas. It turns out that humans can echolocate, too—and it could change your brain. This study’s 10-week echolocation training program (20 sessions, 2-3 hours each) taught participants how to use click-based echolocation to perform perception, identification, and navigation tasks. Tech Motion no.4 | MRI Scan Visualization For this exploration, I wanted to recreate the hypnotic aesthetic of an MRI/CT scan applied to industrial design. This look is a powerful tool for high-end product storytelling allowing brands like luxury watchmakers or automotive engineers to reveal the internal complexity of their products without traditional "explosive" views. The Creative Process: Visibility Logic: I utilized Redshift Tags to manipulate the render visibility. By disabling Primary Visibility and keeping Secondary Visibility active, I was able to hide the solid geometry while capturing its essence. The "Slice" Effect: To create the scan lines, I animated a plane passing through the object. By disabling Self-Shadowing, I ensured a clean, glowing intersection that highlights only the specific "slice" being scanned. Commercial Application: This technique is perfect for revealing internal mechanisms in speakers, engines, or intricate timepieces. Tools: Cinema 4D, Redshift, After Effects. © 2025 Rohit Bhon. I have to say this place has one of the most incredible delay and echo I have ever heard. But seriously, there’s something very strange deep down that tunnel, I’ll show you in the next video…. ••••• Devo dizer que este lugar tem um dos delays e ecos mais incríveis que já ouvi. Mas falando sério, tem algo muito estranho lá no fundo desse túnel, vou mostrar no próximo vídeo.. #echoes #delay #reverb #natureza #chasingechoes

Ultrasound is a motor skill, not a theory topic. If your images aren’t clear → it’s almost always probe movement error. Here are the only 6 probe movements every PG/ER doctor must know 👇 1️⃣ Sweeping (Search & Scan) Move the probe up–down without lifting it. Purpose: To quickly survey the anatomy, locate structures, find pathology, and adjust your window. ⸻ 2️⃣ Sliding (Repositioning) Shift the probe right and left across the skin to follow anatomy or center the structure. Purpose: Used when the target is not fully in view — especially in lung, FAST, and vascular scans. Minimal movement, maximum precision. ⸻ 3️⃣ Compression (Pressure Adjustment) Apply downward pressure to push bowel gas away, improve contact, or assess tenderness. Purpose: Critical in abdominal and DVT scans. Also helps differentiate compressible vs. non-compressible vessels. ⸻ 4️⃣ Fanning (Angle Through Depth) Tilt the probe cephalad–caudad or medial–lateral without sliding. Purpose: Changes the ultrasound beam angle to “cut through” the organ and visualize deeper structures. This gives you a “movie” of the anatomy in a single spot. ⸻ 5️⃣ Rocking (Heel–Toe) Pivot the probe on one end to improve alignment along the long axis. Purpose: Used to center vessels, align the heart chambers, optimize IVC long axis, or correct beam angle. This makes the image look straight. ⸻ 6️⃣ Rotating (Turn to Change Orientation) Rotate the probe 90° (or any angle needed). Purpose: Switch between longitudinal and transverse views — essential for FAST, gallbladder, vascular access, MSK, and cardiac imaging. Rotation = changing perspective. ⸻ Before interpreting an image, ask yourself: “Have I used all 6 probe movements to optimize the window?” Most bad images are technique — not machine — problems. ⸻ 🔖 Save this post So that the next time you pick up a probe, you move with confidence and clarity. #POCUS #UltrasoundTraining #EmergencyMedicine #CriticalCare #USGSkill #FASTExam #Echocardiography #MedicalEducation #ResidentLife #DoctorReels #MedStudent #TraumaScan #DVTScan #CardiacUltrasound #BedsideUltrasound #ClinicalSkills #EMTeaching dr.vivek24x7

POCUS Tip: Short Axis View (Parasternal SAX) Quick, powerful, and essential! This view gives you a cross-sectional slice of the heart—perfect for assessing LV function, wall motion abnormalities, and even pericardial effusion. How to Get It: 1. Place the probe at the left 3rd–4th intercostal space, just lateral to the sternum. 2. Probe marker should point toward the patient’s left shoulder (10 o’clock position). 3. Rotate from the parasternal long axis to get the short axis. What You’ll See: • Circular LV with “donut” appearance • Papillary muscles in mid-LV SAX • RV crescent hugging the LV • Can scan up & down to view aortic valve (at base) or apex Clinical Uses: • Ejection fraction (eyeball it!) • Wall motion in MI • Pericardial effusion • RV strain in PE Master this view, and you’ll read hearts at the bedside like a pro! #POCUS #Echocardiography #BedsideUltrasound #ShortAxisView #CardiacPOCUS #CriticalCare #UltrasoundEducation #medtimewithdrmuneerjan
