🧠 Executive Functioning 101 Think of it as your brain’s “control center” — helping you plan, organize, remember, regulate, and get things done. But when those skills are delayed or challenged? 💥 It’s not laziness. It’s not defiance. It’s a signal that support is needed — not shame. 📊 This infographic breaks down: ✅ What executive functioning skills are ⚠️ What the struggles look like 🛠️ And most importantly… the tools that help. ✨ Let’s support brains that think differently. Save this. Share it. Post it in your classroom or clinic. Every child deserves the tools that meet their brain’s needs. #ExecutiveFunctioning #NeurodivergentSupport #ThriveCommunityWorks #ADHDAwareness #BehaviorIsCommunication #EmotionalRegulation #ChildDevelopment #ToolsNotTantrums #InclusiveEducation #SupportDon’tShame #MentalHealthMatters

This video went viral on TikTok for a reason. Most people think visibility is the path to executive credibility. It is not. Executives are not asking, “Who is loud?” They are asking, “Who shows judgment, understands sequence, and sees business impact?” In this video, I break down: • Why visibility without credibility stalls promotions • How senior leaders evaluate whether to trust you with bigger decisions • What your communication needs to signal at the executive level If you want influence, scope, and real decision-making power, this is the shift that matters. Save this if you are aiming for director, VP, or executive roles. #ExecutiveCredibility #ExecutivePresence #LeadershipCommunication

Authority isn’t loud — here are 10 corporate power moves that don’t require saying a word. 1. Walk in without rushing. Your pace tells the room everything about your confidence. 2. Hold eye contact just long enough to signal certainty. Not a stare-down — a statement. 3. Sit with posture that takes up space. Authority is a physical language. 4. Place your notebook or laptop deliberately. Precision movements read as power. 5. Stay composed when the room gets tense. The calmest person always has advantage. 6. Nod once when you agree. Minimal affirmation carries maximum weight. 7. Let silence do some of the talking. Insecurity fills space. Confidence doesn’t. 8. Keep your facial expressions controlled. Stoicism reads as strength in corporate settings. 9. Enter and exit meetings with intention. Presence is how you move, not just how you speak. 10. Make decisions with clean, decisive motions. No fidgeting, no over-adjusting — certainty is quiet.

Most people think promotions are about performance. But in corporate environments, status is built quietly — and lost quietly too. These are the office behaviors that instantly lower your status — even when you’re good at your job. And smart women learn to spot them early. ⸻ 1. Talking about how busy you are Senior people talk about priorities. Junior people talk about workload. The more you announce how overwhelmed you are, the less strategic you sound. ⸻ 2. Explaining yourself too much Confidence sounds simple. Over-explaining sounds unsure. Senior leaders assume they don’t need permission. ⸻ 3. Responding immediately to everything Being constantly available looks reactive. Not important. People with influence control their time. ⸻ 4. Oversharing personal frustrations Smart professionals build trust. They don’t vent emotionally at work. The moment you become “the one who complains,” your authority drops. ⸻ 5. Needing recognition out loud Influence grows when your work speaks. Not when you constantly remind people what you did. Senior people assume results will be noticed. ⸻ 6. Asking for permission instead of making recommendations Executives recommend. Juniors ask what to do. One sounds like leadership. One sounds like support. ⸻ 7. Trying to be liked by everyone Respect builds careers. Approval does not. The most effective people are warm — but not eager. ⸻ Most people never realize their behavior is lowering their status. They just wonder why they get passed over. If you’re paying attention, you’ll see these everywhere.

Executive presence isn’t a checklist. It’s a felt experience. You know it the moment someone walks into the room. And you know when it’s missing. Executive presence is the ability to command attention without asking for it. Not by being loud… But by being certain. It looks like: • Walking in already assuming you belong • Looking the part because you respect the room you’re entering • Knowing your work so well you don’t over-explain • Speaking with clarity, not qualifiers • Moving with ease because you’re prepared Presence is confidence made visible. It’s what happens when preparation meets self-trust. And here’s the truth most people miss… You don’t wait for the title to show up like a leader. You show up like a leader before the title arrives. This is the kind of work I help women do every day… Building the presence that matches the level they’re stepping into. If you’ve ever felt capable but unseen, talented but overlooked… maybe you need to join me Inside the Room. This is a real conversation for women navigating a professional climate that feels unstable, unclear, and at times unfair… and who want to move forward with clarity instead of fear. 🗓 March 3 ⏰ 12:00 PM EST 📍 Live via Zoom Comment “WORKSHOP” below to secure your seat 💺 - #careerjourney #careeradviceforwomen #womenwholead #womeninleadership #corporatewomen

Everyone talks about executive presence like it's some mysterious quality you either have or don't. The truth? It's not magic. It's how you walk into rooms, how you sound under pressure, and whether your energy says "I belong here" before you even open your mouth 💼 Most professionals lose credibility by rambling, using filler words, or letting nerves make them overly casual when they need to be grounded. You can't fake composure - but you can build it through deliberate practice. Brief responses. Slower speech. Grounded tone. Using people's names. Rehearsing out loud before high-stakes moments. Confidence isn't a feeling you wait for. It's a decision you make and back up with preparation. When you look composed and sound deliberate, people start treating you like leadership long before you get the title 🎯 Comment ZOOM to join my LIVE Career Game Plan webinar on building real executive presence that gets you noticed and promoted. #executivepresence #leadershipdevelopment #careerstrategy #careeradvice #professionaldevelopment #leadershipskills #careeradvancement #executivecoaching #corporateleadership #careerafter50 #leadershipcoach #careergrowth #executiveleadership #professionalgrowth #careercoach #leadershipstrategy #corporateculture #careerpromotion #executiveskills #leadershipmindset

What you need to know about interacting with execs and senior leaders 👇🏼 The difference is (1) time (2) altitude. 1️⃣ Every hour of an executives’s time is scheduled. You need to get to the point more quickly, and make your presentations shorter than with anyone else you interact with. 2️⃣ Execs see from a completely different perspective. They’re thinking about the biggest company priorities and problems, from a high altitude, and constantly context switching between dozens of topics and sub-teams each day. It’s an information firehose. You want to break it, get their attention and hold it. Here’s how: 1. Know what’s important to them 2. Frame your message around that 3. Start your presentation with the ‘So What?’ 4. If you’re selling in an idea, use storytelling (not just data) 5. If you’re giving an update, keep it to 3 bullets 6. Plan for it to be more of a discussion than you speaking at them 7. Ask *them* questions (and prep for them to ask you) ⚡I talk about exec presence and communication in my free newsletter 👉🏼 link in the usual spot. #executivepresence #leadershipcommunication #executives#seniorleadership #communicationtips #publicspeaking #presentationskills #careeradvice #businesscommunication #influence #storytelling

Good leaders set more than strategy. They set the emotional climate of the team. Leadership experts often say that “leaders bring the weather.” That means the energy a leader brings into the room becomes the environment everyone else works in. If a leader shows up frustrated, stressed, or reactive, that tension spreads across the team. People become cautious, communication breaks down, and performance usually drops. But when a leader brings calm, clarity, and confidence, the opposite happens. The team feels more secure, more focused, and more willing to perform at a high level. Leadership is not just about decisions and direction. It’s also about the emotional environment you create every day.
