EXIf you’re planning to fly to the UK for studies or return home amid the current Middle East conflict, you must check official guidance, travel plans are being affected right now. 👇🏻
The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) now advises against all but essential travel to the United Arab Emirates, and warns there is a heightened risk of regional tension that could disrupt travel, cause airport closures or sudden changes in air routes. If you’re in, or planning to travel through, this region, make sure you read the current FCDO advice before booking anything. 
For multiple countries across the Middle East (including Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Israel, Palestine), the UK has activated a ‘Register Your Presence’ portal so travellers can receive direct updates and alerts from the government on safety, travel changes, and if needed, evacuation information. 
In some cases, authorities are recommending that British nationals shelter in place and avoid all travel, following local guidance to stay safe.

• Follow the UK government’s latest travel advice pages before booking or flying. 
• If you’re already in a region with warnings, register your presence with the UK government for alerts and support. 
• Travel insurance may not cover your trip if you travel against official advice.
